Seduuuuuuuu baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:clapping: I treated myself to it for my birthday and I got it on Friday and I tested it on a few strands of my hair in the front section and in one swipe my hair was bone straight and smooth. I think this is going to be my favorite gadget from now on.:yay: I can't wait to straighten my entire hair with it.:bouncy: I also wanted to thank you ladies for all the wonderful reviews on your favorite flatiron because this was really a tough decision to make.

*mad I saw this post. I will make do with my joint from Sally's for now. Perhaps this will be a year end bonus treat. Will monitor if Letitia buys and if she raves about it by then...*

I LOVE when I hear a hit for my Fermodyl 619!!

I really need to find some coconut milk? I want to try this for my next henna mix. Sometimes yogurt alone makes it too thick. Some warm coconut milk would be nice!

The coconut milk makes the mix so creamy and rich! My hair feels so soft and moisturized after the henna treatment!

Hit: Prepoos. i barely lose any hair when i wash when i do one but if i dont prepoo i have hair all over my hands. this is permanent in my regimen now.

on the fence: adore rinse in off black. i love the fact that my hair is darker and i will continue to use it becuz my natural color is so dull, but it didnt give me the shine i wanted.

miss: motions hair serum, gave me no shine at all.

i dont know whats up with my hair but nothing is making it shine. i am still looking for that magic product.

Yeah! Another Fermodyl 619 HIT! :)

Hits:

Jamila Henna
: Although messy, I love the color it released(gorgeous red) I kinda wish I just left it as that but I really wanted jet black hair. Maybe next time. It was also very easy to mix but a little challenging to wash out. Henna also left my hair thicker and shiny.

Indigo: Very, very messy but the color payoff was worth it. My hair came out jet black; exactly how I wanted it.

Revisited hit:

Silicon Mix--this con saved my hair today. The henna left my hair a tangled mess and my hair felt so dry and gritty after washing out the henna and then the indigo. I was not a happy camper. It was so bad that I was regretting putting henna in my hair. However, I deep conditioned with silicon mix for 20 minutes and when I rinsed my hair the tangles were gone and my hair felt soft again. I was able to comb my hair without any problems. This is definitley going to be a permanent staple.

Hits:

Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol (Hair feels like butter, and for cheap, too! Thanks, PreciousJewel76!)
Trader Joe's Nutra Spa Shampoo and Conditioner (Well worth the 6 mile walk in traffic at an affordable price! Thanks, Nice N' Wavy! ;))
Jamaica Black Castor Oil for my ends
Shikaki Oil and Alma Oil Mix for my rollersets!! LOVE IT!!
Fermodyl 7 Extra Strength for Fine, Delicate Hair (thanks HoneyDew!:))
Porosity Control (this stuff helped me correct an underprocessing relaxer treatment! It's the best! Thanks so much GymFreak and MssMadamm!!)
And as always, Henna and Indigo!

Misses:

Pantene Creme Comb Through (horrible:()
Infusium 23 (very disappointed; I think the protein messed me up and caused breakage and shedding)
Pantene's Silk Pomade (when will I ever learn about Pantene products?)
Lacio Lacio Leave-In (not moisturizing enough)

Miss::(

Hello Hydration Conditioner. I really really wanted to like this, but it just didn't work for me (again). It makes my hair airdry soft, but it didn't have the detangling power that I need! Plus it smells so good!

I am going to try 2-3 more drugstore conditioners and that's it (Loreal New Pro, Sunsilk, and the Herbal Essence Replenishing Conditioner or Pantene Relaxed and Natural). I really want to have all drugstore staples. I am tired of ordering online.:(

Oh, I'll do you better than that. I've spent too much money trying to find my staples. But if you check out my siggy, every product listed is inexpensive. Perhaps I'm learning that I do best with less. All those other products are being shipped to my mother, sister and aunts. If they don't like them, they can pass them along to my baby cousins or something. :lachen:

*Silicon Mix deep conditioner works all the time 23 weeks post and have my hair with SLIPPP

* small sample of Lacio Lacio (have to go roundhair brush to order a FULL bottle)
*Natural Oasis oil

*Kemi Oyl Conditioning spray

* Kinky twists

Hits: SCurl wave noveau - my curls are moisturized and light feeling. Not greasy at all.
Fantasia IC gel with sparkelites. Didn't work for me before, bought a sample size and used it with the SCurl.

Misses: Miss Jessies Buttercreme, love the peppermint smell and the feeling on my scalp. But it is too heavy. Made my curls look greasy and stringy looking.

HIT: Herbal Essence Fruit Fusions Conditioner for normal hair. My hair loves it! It smells GREAT, detangles pretty well, has slip and its moisturizing. I found a big 40 oz bottle at Big Lots for $5.50:cool: I'm stocking up on this stuff (I've learned my lesson from the DDTA, Daily Defense and Citre Shine conditioners that I loved and are now gone).

Hits: Nexxxus Aloe Rid Clarifying Shampoo( hair left light and clean without being stripped), Porosity Control Conditioner (hair soft and smooth), ORS Replinishing Pak (controlled my breakage, but had to follow with Nexxxus Humectress for more softness), Aveda DR Treatment (I had a sample, it worked pretty well, but not worth the $$$), regular clear castor oil (for sealing ends...they come out so soft! I want the black one when I finish the one I have)

Misses: Motions Regular Strength Lye Relaxer (it left my underprocessed in my crown and front and I smoothed a lot in these areas!), whole head baggie( I sweat too much in my scalp. I woke up with wet hair! I even tried putting a few holes in the cap for ventilation...but nope, it didn't work)>

I have some of this and wasnt fond of the smell. But putting it on my ends sounds like a really good idea! I prob. wont be able to smell it as much with my hair in a bun. I can gone and get my money's worth. (now it doesnt stink at all, just 'different' smelling.)

Yeah, maybe you'll like it for bunning. You're right about the smell, it is kinda different. I actually like it, to me almost smells like a delicate food smell, weird I know.

Maybe they were shooting for a carrot cake scent? :look:
