Usually it's no more than a week, but sometimes I get lazy and it ends up being two weeks, but under no circumstances is it more than that.

Other.

I can co-wash everyday in the summer or go for 2-4 weeks after I flat iron.

After I flat iron-
Week 1=I wear my hair straight for one week,
Week 2=slightly curly the second week
Week 3= twists the third week,
Week 4= bush/afro puff the fourth week

It varies to say the least.

Before joining, I've went only a week without washing my hair(relaxed). But after joining, and reading up about co-washing(at this point texturized), I've been co-washing my hair every other day(3-4x week). But now as a natural, I pretty much co-wash daily. May skip a day, but definitely no more than that a week. My hair  co-washes!! Just love that clean fresh feeling.

I have gone 2 weeks without washing my hair before and I can't do it again. My scalp was so itchy, I think I made a few scabs. This was a while back when I was going to the Dominican's. I remember being very busy and waiting to get to the salon.

two weeks. it was in braids and i was busy as heck. to wash my hair when it's in mircos means it will take at least 2hrs to dry and i didn't have the time at one point during the semester. plus the stress of deadlines meant it was way down on my list anyway.

eta: my hair wasn't damaged per se. however, when i took my braids down my hair was quite dry, especially my ends. and of course, my scalp was a little itchy. i wouldn't do it again.

Well the longest I have been without washing my hair was two weeks, but I usually wash my hair every few days. I love to wash my hair its relaxing.

Pre-lhcf I washed my hair with shampoo every 2 weeks.

post-lhcf I cowash daily or every other day and use my shikakai shampoo bar whenever i feel like it--maybe every week?

I voted 2 weeks. It was a phase I was going through...I'm over it now!

Now I at least rinse my scalp everyday or CW, and my hair is MUCH happier for it!

a week and a half...couldnt let go of the dominican blowout even though my hair felt gross. it really wasnt...i had barely used any product since then...but you know.

wetting my hair too often is not good for my head... I find I loose more hair when I shampoo/CW too often. I find the less manipulation the better for me to keep hair on my head.

The longest I've gone is 2 weeks. I shampoo normally every 7-10 days. Some times before 7 days, sometimes longer than 10 days.

The longest I've gone AFTER joining LHCF is 1 month (4 weeks). I did that on purpose a few times to give my hair a rest and let my natural oils do what they do.

BUT I regularly wash my hair once every 5-7 days now. I just don't like itchy scalp and I get itchy scalp after day 5. When I didn't wash for a month I didn't put any product on my hair for the first two weeks, my scalp was fine until week 4 and I couldn't take it anymore. I had to wash. My scalp likes to be clean!

Unfortunately I'm a 4a/b and I lose a LOT of hair with manipulation each week. My sister (non-LHCF) says that's okay your hair is thick anyways :nono:. I have NOT found a solution for this besides Texlaxing which allows me to retain more length than when I was natural and trying to straighten my hair. It seemed like it never grew when I was natural, but the truth is it was always breaking. Now I see length and have healthy hair.

I had a sewin and dind't wash for 2 weeks. It was good for me though. I didn't shed much when I took it down and it was dirrrrrty but still felt moisturized and soft.

5 days. Laziness/didn't make it to the store since I was out of moisturizer. Usually I'd HAVE to wash every 2 days since my scalp gets really dry but with the mega-tek I didn't have that problem so I was all like "Eh, I'll do it tomorrow." lol. But it was getting sweaty and itchy so...

I tried to go 2 weeks, I made it to a 1.5. My head was SORE:nono:. I won't be going beyond a week ever again.

A week...I usually have to cowash at least 2x during the week, with my actual wash day on the weekend. I sometimes don't feel like being bothered and I go a week or close to it. By that time my hair is usually looks gross to me but gorgeous to anyone else (go figure :drunk:)

I would say no more than 4 days. I just started my journey and I love washing my hair. (I will not disclose how long I used to go without washing.....) But the week before I get a touchup I don't wash my hair.

....like a week and a half. That was out of pure laziness. Not a big different, maybe i lost a few more hairs than usual.

2 weeks about 2 week ago...lol. I know that is trifiling. I was too lazy to do my hair . I didn't notice any difference. I used Sabino Moisture Block so all I know is it stayed straight! Right now its been 4 days, so I guess I'll drag my lazy self to bathroom to wash and deep condition by this Sunday.

On a side note, I don't know how other races do it with the daily washing, blowdrying and flat-ironing. DAILY!!! I would go insane. In the summer I have a tendency to wash it daily and where it curly, but I don't have to fool with all that blowdrying (I diffuse for like 5-10 minutes) and flatironing.
