2011 Cowash Challenge--January 1st to April 30th

I've been looking at tresseme naturals...is it thick n creamy?

Hey girl ... I was curious too, so I wanted to do a comparison.

The first con to the left is Suave Almond &Shea Butter which is definitely thin and runny; the middle is my fav, L'Oreal Hydra Gloss Moisturizing for Very Dry/Damaged Hair and it is definitely the thickest and creamiest of the 3-- must be why I love it so much... the last on the right is Tresemme' Naturals Nourishing Moisture Con and it is also pretty thick and creamy...

Cowashed this AM with VO5. I've been using tresemme for the past 2 weeks (which I'm still absolutely in love with). The VO5 was good. Way less slip though, maybe not a bad thing but not so good for detangling.

Still having good wng results with ytca and avg layered on top.

Lord knows I have soo many conditioners but i'm trying to narrow it down to the faves!!

Also ladies if ur like me and have tooo many conditioners that didnt make the grade...here are some tips to put them to use:

1. Use as a prepoo with ur fav oil
2. Use in a homemade protein treatment (add egg and fav oil)
3. Pair it with ur dc to make more product
4. Use them as a leave in
5. Use them as detanglers
6. Put in spray bottle with water as a moisturizer

Must try some of these ideas as I have a lot of random conditioners I'd like to use up.

Thanks for this info. I would like to know how do you use them as a leave-in? Do you just use as-is? Or add something with it? Do you use a lot or a little?

I have a lot of Cons, so this would be really helpful to me.

TIA!

Checking in...I think I joined this challenge (sorry I joined so many) Anyway, I cowashed last Sat and will be cowashing again tomorrow. I think my hair is becoming drier since using my MTG so I think Im going to increase my cowashes to every other day instead of 3xs a week. I cowash with Suave Ocean Breeze or mountain breeze, the blue con

This is what I was going to say as well. Conditioner doesn't have as much buildup in your razors also.

girl I forgot that one!!

Say word! I have tons of V05... that I know I'll never get to, especially after being at LHCF a lot more now, thus supplying my product junkie cravings :lachen::lachen::lachen:

Awesome tip! Thanks so much ladies...

Checking in for the day...

I just CW with Suave Shea &Almond Con
I'm currently doing the 2 min Aphoghee reconstructor
and will DC with Mixed Silk (mixed chicks bootleg) deep conditioner
then apply my kimmaytube LI

Cowash with VO5 Free Me Fresia, then Porosity Control Conditioner & Corrector, and finally Aphogee 2 Minute Reconstruct. Used leave-insurance and banded my ponytail.

Cowashed last night with HH HE, will be now using up the Salon Care since HH is gone. If I finish up the Salon Care I will go on to HH LTR....

How many times per week will you cowash? 5-6x/wk

What conditioners are you planning to use?
Whatever I feel like..usually Vo5 moisture milks (new love is Passion Fruit Smoothie), but I have been trying out Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deep Moisture and Yes to Carrots Pampering Hair Mud Conditioner. So far Vo5 still gets my vote though I like them all.

What do you hope to achieve by cowashing? I'm hoping to achive faster growth and mega moisture.

How often (if ever) will you use shampoo?
I poo. on Sunday's.

Checking in... I CW with L'Oreal Hydro Gloss Con and DC with Lustrasilk Olive Oil and finished with Kimmaytube leave-in.

Checkin in,
I cowashed with Tresemme Naturals and DC'd for a few hours with ORS Replenishing Conditioner. I also appied HE NOYF leave in along with HS 14 in 1 and sealed with hot six oil.

Cowashed this morning with V05 Moisture Milks Passion Fruit Smoothie mixed with OO and Tea Tree oil (I LOVE this stuff, it smells sooooo good). I will be adding peppermint oil to the mix as well come next cowashing session.

I bought some of the L'Oreal Hydra Gloss conditioner. It seems to get great reviews from here and online. I found some at Big Lots for $1.50. If I love it too, I will stock up.
