....like a week and a half. That was out of pure laziness. Not a big different, maybe i lost a few more hairs than usual.

I voted for 5 days. After about 4 days I can't stand my hair. I think it is because I use product(s) in my hair each day, and by the 4th day my hair has build up on it and I can't stand for my hair to be sticky, dirty, etc.

I voted 1 1/2 weeks. I normally wash every weekend, but got lazy. Before I knew it, Wednedsay was back again.

I didnt want to have to mess with my hair so I'd avoid washing it.:look: I go about a week after the trial of flat-ironing myself and I dont like all the manipulation I go through after washing it.

Well...it'll be 3 days tomorrow.
I just flat-ironed it yesterday and I don't feel like taking the time to do a braid-out.

LOL @Madonna in your siggy.
What is that?

3 weeks but that's because I was trying to preserve my braids. It helped me to make it to 1 month without combing:rolleyes:.

2 weeks b/c I had twists in, but even then I used ORS Herbal Cleanse Dry Shampoo and I let the water mist my twists when I took a shower, so there was very little build up.

two weeks out of laziness. I dont think I want to wait that long again. I was getting the itchies. Plus I like a fresh rollerset every week.

i second this; i DC'd saturday and flat-ironed sunday and was going to wash tuesday until i got a free dominican blowout. now i really want to wash, but i'm enjoying the length of my hair in its straightened state :ohwell:

therefore i am thinking tomorrow...for the third night in a row.

After joining LHCF, I started washing every 3 days. 4 days was the longest without washing.

I have gone a week and a half. When i have things going on like finals and work stuff, I just have to skip it.

But I normally wash my hair twice a week. It is better for my hair and I need to since I workout a lot during the week.

The longest was two weeks. I had straightened my hair and I was really enjoying not having knots and such at the end of my hair. :look:

Um 2 weeks, I was trying to see if I could keep a super low-mani, 2 week wash and flatiron regimen.

I couldn't. It got so dry because of the cones in my moisturizer.:nono:

I actually read it wrong, thinking you said before LHCF and selected other. Its actually been a week, since joining i wash faithfully every weekend!

Before joining LHCF, I was washing twice a week. After joining I have been trying to co-wash daily, but a few times I have skipped a day so my answer is just 1 day.

3 days to a week. It has helped my hair. My hair is not dry like it use to be prior to joining LCHF. Sometimes, when I touching my hair. I can't believe this is the same hair, I had 4 years ago. My hair has definitely improved.

The absolute longest i've gone since joining the board is 7 days.. and that feels almost like torture. My scalp starts to feel dirty... I like to wash my hair at least by day 5.
When I first joined the board I use to co wash a few times a week. I think it kept my scalp nice and clean. Now I wash about 2x a week.

After all the tips that you've learned, what the longest? Has is helped or Damaged your hair?

3 days for me...once a week washer before lurking on lhcf ... [the 'Dry Hair Syndrome' :afro: led me here looking for answers].

I now wash twice a week, that has somewhat helped 'The Hair's' condition, but I :crystalba a move into three times per week.

'The Hair's' moisture demands are off the chart...:drowning:

Tips I've read on this site have been an enormous help charting out possible answers to my dilemma...:yep:

Thanks goes to both those who ask and to those who answer...:grouphug3:

:nicethread:

2 weeks....Had braids in, took em out, hair seemed the most moisturized and healthy since starting a haircare regimen.

Then i noticed just about all of my hair idols had a super low regi and washed every 10-15 days......tryed it out, loved it, hair seems to retain more length (noticed my hair doesnt like to be bothered at all), more moisturized, less tangled est. est.

But i switch it up, sometimes 2x a week, sometimes about 10 days.

3 weeks, recently I've gotten hair lazy. Didn't feel like jumping in and out of the shower to rinse. I'm seriously thinking about purchasing a shampoo chair and bowl.
