Been married a couple years and I ran into my ex (from 10 years ago) about 2 months ago. I saw him and told DH "I think that's my ex." I waved. He ran over and hugged me. I introduced them. DH went back to fiddling with the radio. Me and ex chatted a bit and that was it.
I've run into him twice since then... both times we said hello, chatted a bit and that was that. It was all perfectly pleasant. My memory isn't good enough to be mad about some stuff from 10 years ago.
