But I guess it's a good thing 'cause a lot of people need something to motivate them in order to actually get up and exercise, I know I do. And if exercising will help me reach my hair goal a little faster, than that's plenty of motivation for me!

We had been away from each other for quite a while (years...because we both went back to school) and then he surprisingly called me on my birthday (this was on a friday i think) and invited me out that weekend. I was excited but my first thought was "my hair!" I wanted myself and my hair to look perfect and felt I would need "more time to prepare."

...and I was like...um...can we do it another time? He was obviously so disappointed and I felt his attitude changing. But I realized that I was being an idiot and that as long as I'd known him, his main interest has always been ME and not my hair.

{sigh}...okay, now I'm starting to daydream!
