Which conditioner has the best "SLIP"?

Which conditioner has the best \"SLIP\"?

Hey ladies! What deep conditioners have you found to have the best slip?

Re: Which conditioner has the best \"SLIP\"?

That is REALLY subjective. But I like Pantene, Feria and Kenra for slip. I say it's subjective because I can guarantee you there's someone for whom these conditioners provide no slip at all....unfortunately, slip, like most other characteristics of how a cond behaves on hair can vary so much from person to person and requires some trial and error to find...

But you will!

Good Luck...

Re: Which conditioner has the best \"SLIP\"?

Kenra, Deep Brilliance, Nacidit, Salerm Wheat Germ mask and Suave Milk and Honey or Citrus Smoothie for CO washes

Here are some of my favorites:

· L’Oreal Nature’s Therapy Unfrizz Smoothing Treatment (aka LUST)
· Suave Naturals Milk & Honey Conditioner
· Pantene Conditioners

I like GPB and Redken heavy cream's slip.

Elucence and St. Ive conditioners don't give me the slip I like.

Re: Which conditioner has the best \"SLIP\"?

I find that water gives me slip. No I'm not being funny but when I comb my hair under running water, I lose fewer hairs that way.

Re: Which conditioner has the best \"SLIP\"?

For moisture and great slip I would say Redken Butter Treat Hands Down

Suave Milk & Honey
Suave Humectant
Lustrasilk Chol. w/ Aloe

The force was with me......

You know, I think that this board has Jedi Masters posting on it. I took my mom to target and I strictly forbade myself from making any purchases before going there. Once I got there my eyes fell on the word "Suave". All I could keep thinking was "Milk and Honey Conditoner...Slip...Milk and Honey Conditioner...Slip...It has slip". I tried to walk away from the product aisle but I kept walking forward. I was compelled, in a trancelike state... "It smells good. It has slip. Milk and Honey has slip."

*sigh*

... naturally I bought some....

It HAD to be a Jedi mind trick. I'm convinced.

There is no way I would have purchased it of my own free will...smh... I have to stop reading this board when I'm broke...you know you can't just stop spending at 74 cents.

..btw...I LOVED the conditioner...my hair is currently relaxed and the waves were seperated, defined, and very soft. Absolutely loved it.

Re: The force was with me......

I went to Target today also. I picked up the Suave Milk and Honey and then I put it back on the shelf. I decided to wait until something needed replacing.

I agree with Elucence MB also as providing great slip.

hairlove i know you've tried several other conditioners, how does st.ives compare to kenra, pantene, suave and the others?? is the slip better or equal? and where'd you purchase it??

Re: The force was with me......

I tried the St. Ives Vanilla and Edelweiss (the mositure formula) and it was about equal. I bought mine in a random discount store. I never see it in regular drugstores anymore.

St.Ives has the best slip I've tried as a transitioner. Pantene doesn't do much for my hair anymore - it just sort of sits there. Kenra penetrates and has decent slip but St. Ives has more. I don't get slip from Suave Conditioners with the exception of the Awapuhi that I use as a leave-in...not sure how it works as an actual wash-out conditioner.

I found the St. Ives at a local grocery store chain. It is a difficult product to find.

Re: The force was with me......

I went to Target too today. I pick up the Suave Milk and Honey. Thought about maybe I should not since I already have so many products. But of course I just could not resist and made the purchase.
