Which conditioner has the best "SLIP"?

Re: Which conditioner has the best \"SLIP\"?

I noticed that no matter what conditioner I use, even if my hair feels a little rough afterwards, when I put a dab of Salerm in it, it instantly gets smooth and then its slip city! magic!

I like NTM for slip these days...I like humectress but it doesnt give a lot of slip, same with GPB....Im thinking of mixing them sometimes(2 of the 3). Those are my 3 favorite conditioners right now, but Im going to get that Suave milk and honey for co washes bc I need something cheaper if I will be going through it quickly and use my more expensive ones for weekly conditioning.

Also, queen helen cholesterol didnt give me any slip at all, but when I added a little EVOO to it, it made a big difference. I think if you add things to non-slip conditioners you can get slip from them.

Pantene S&S; Suave Awphi (the best); Suave Citrus Smoothie and Pantene Full and Thick. That is all I can think of right now.

St Ives Extra Shine Conditioner

hairlove i know you've tried several other conditioners, how does st.ives compare to kenra, pantene, suave and the others?? is the slip better or equal? and where'd you purchase it??

St.Ives has the best slip I've tried as a transitioner. Pantene doesn't do much for my hair anymore - it just sort of sits there. Kenra penetrates and has decent slip but St. Ives has more. I don't get slip from Suave Conditioners with the exception of the Awapuhi that I use as a leave-in...not sure how it works as an actual wash-out conditioner.

I found the St. Ives at a local grocery store chain. It is a difficult product to find.

Hairlove, other than at the grocery store, have you seen that St.Ives conditioner anywhere else? I would like to try some and haven't seen it anywhere yet.

Sorry - I found it on a fluke. I don't think it is widely distributed.

My only suggestion if you REALLY want to try it is the internet. There are several online stores that carry St. Ives conditioners.

drugstore.com

teebop.com - this site has the most selection and lowest price

Thanks Hairlove! I may do just that...I use their lotion and I like it, so I'd really like to try their hair products.

what do you mean by "slip"? thanks.

As you rinse/after you rinse out the conditioner, your hair feels slippery.

For me it's V05 "Straberries and Creme" - nothing else makes my hair feel any better than this!

Man, I used my Sleek.Look Conditioner again today. I just can't get over this stuff! It's the bomb!
