What is the use of doing something only "halfway right" ?
I know a person that has worn their hair in microbraids since August. She has not washed her hair since then and plans on waiting until the summer/her birthday so her hair will be "fresh". She thinks that feeding her "baby edges" with grease is more than enough work and constantly berates me and my "Nappy *fill in any explitive you like* hair". She is barely SL and wants to be MBL by May. This person has the gall to tell me that my hair smells when I wash my hair 3 times a week and use mainly organic products (I am 19 months post relaxer natural and she is bonelaxed under braids). No water hits her hair, she showers in 2 scarves, (yes one on top of the other) and beleives that grease moisturizes her hair.
Could she actually be right? Is it possible for her to retain length? Or should I prepare a bucket of popcorn for the "big reveal"?
