Ladies, ive tried to perm my hair again and did not succeed my hair still looks nappy and i'm threw with trying to perm my hair myself. The problem is that I have only one person to perm my hair which is my mother's beauician who I feel broke off my shoulder length hair. How long am I going to have to wait to get a corrective relaxer. I will put hair grease on the straight relaxed part so she doesnt overlap (which she has a serious problem with). My mother hair is tough as nails and is brastap, she is a member, her hair has been brastap still I was a little girl. Please help

maybe you want to ask some of the ladies on the board to recommend a good stylist in your area so you don't have to go to your mother's beautician.

I don't know how important it is to her that you go to her beautician. Maybe you want to talk to your mom about it and really tell her how you want to use someone else?

I'm not sure how long you would have to wait to get a corrective relaxer.
