Most of the ladies would have asked, about the ingredient label (cause we're so concerned w/ingredients), which if you had, would have been told by the product owner that "oh, I peeled off the label", or maybe "oh, the list was there but it's smeared off". I only say this, cause we know, as soon as we check a new product, we wanna come back and post. You've been on since 2003? You KNOW this!! :look:

I wouldn't have just assumed there was no ingredients listing. But, that's just me. No harm, no foul.

I'm out.

gn1g said on two occassions that the label with the ingredients was smeared off when she posted:

Ms. Sue says that she's getting professional labels with the ingredients to put on the Lenzi's Request. So my jar will probably not have a professional label but hopefully the ingredients will still be listed.

There's no dispute on that. In fact, I alluded to that in MY post. :yep: I'm merely pointing out inconsistencies. Ms. Sue said the same thing to me when I spoke with her, that's in one of my other posts as well.

Ok ladies, we need to get a few things clarified here, first:

gng1 called the product "Sunrise Products Added Touch hair pomade", now it's Lenzy's Request? Yes you put Lenzy's name out, but gn1g, who had the "first" exposure put something else.

Second;y, you said you went to gn1g's house to smell it, I take it you live in Garland also? But you also went to San Antonio, 5 hours away? Dang, you're a drivin' sista! :driver: Or, did I miss understand your post when you were speaking of Ms. Sue's products and said you went by 'there' to smell it? Which there are we talking about?

You know....I'm gonna pass on this ladies.

Good luck!

gn1g called the product both "Sunrise Products Added Touch hair pomade" and "Lenzi's Request" in this post: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?p=975512&highlight=Lenzi's#post975512

I'm sorry that you're going to pass on it.

Thanks Ebony, if I have a change of heart in the future, I'll be more than happy to admit and jump on the bandwagon but for now....

Ya'll can ride on out front, I'll bring up the rear!

gn1g, are you in partnership with Ms. Sue or affiliated with her company/product in any way, other than as a consumer? I'm just asking.

I would like to know too. I find it strange that since the questions started she hasn't been back in the thread also.

Nothing will grow your hair 1 inch in 3 weeks. Sounds bogus to me, but good luck for those of you who are going to use it.

That is not impossible. That's 1/3 per week. If hair can grow on average 0.5 - 1 inch per month without any additional aids why can't that timespan be cut short by 7 days with the help of a topical solution.

I will add my 0.02 cents and say I think sulfur based products can add an inch in 3 weeks. Now an inch in 3 days that would be more unbelieveable.

Okay folx, If ya'll don't believe it or don't want to try it then that is fine, but please don't knock this when gn1g is only trying to help. TIA :)

I am going to try it, if my hair falls out or doesn't grow, then that's MY problem. BUT if I got hair down to my ankles by the end of the summer then that is also is something that has everything to do with MY hair growth journey and NOTHING to do with skeptics.

It's not a knock my dear, most of what is being said is simply SCIENTIFIC fact. IF the product works, great. I put no limitations on God's handiwork at all. If it's of Him, it'll do what she claims... If not, well..:look: ..it's only lunch money.

I'm laughing cause that's how I feel about all the negative MTG posts, some wise gal on here told me just leave it alone, if they don't wanna use it or believe, fine. Ya know...I'm down with that. It works for me, so I'm using it. :yep:

But, I think she should answer the questions posted, since she's the only one who has any working knowledge of the product.

Either way, if you're so inclined, do your thang! I don't need to jump on this one.

She doesn't post much on LHCF.;)

That's very true Pooh but she's been logged on at least twice today yet has not come in to say ANYTHING, good or bad in HER thread.

It does make one wonder.

Oh, I didn't notice that... I'm sure she'll get to her thread eventually... I don't think she would intentionally ignore it...:look:

Let's just say that at 4:13 pm, she was last online, checking her subscribed threads. :ohwell:

ut oh LaNecia... i just checked her profile a second ago and it seems like her last activity was actually 30 minutes ago! Hmmm.... :scratchch :sekret:

Oh my goodness! I didn't mean to start anything with my question about whether she was involved in the company/product as anything other than a consumer. After reading the other posts, I became curious and honestly wanted to know.

Wow, this is really serious. Folks are sending out the FBI and stuff. :look: I understand though. I'm just waiting for pictures....

Has this been reduced to stalking?? :sekret:

Dang

How bout' just don't use the grease if you don't want/believe/choose to?!

I don't think anyone is stalking...we all have lives...

I think it was more a confirmation as to whether the poster regarding this product had been on the board or not to address the inquiry made to her. That's all. It's not that serious.

It's a tad more than just don't use the grease if you don't want/believe/choose to? It's a matter of protecting the integrity of the board...cause there was a lil aura of...summin a lil off to some people.

Ish bein a "lil off" brought about questions to perhaps protect fellow hair board members from something that may or may not be legit.

But yes, folks can go ahead and choose to use or not use the product. That never was in question...affiliation was.

I hope that clarified things a little.

Exactly Mona,

I find it more than a little strange that after buying a few products from this lady that she would name a product after her daughter. To me it just seems that she has more interest in the matter than she's saying.

Also, is the ingredients there or not, I don't think that has been cleared up, and why is it being called two different names at times?

With the amount of products I buy from Sickbay I wonder if they would name a few after me?

I didn't read the entire thread but to answer some of your questions,

For some reason I am feeling like I don't have to explain myself. It is not my product. I will not loose any sleep if you get the product or you don't! I don't have anything to gain or loose. My hair is growing from using it and that is what I will be using. Not only that she had a lot of orders to fill prior to my mentioning it on this forum.

It is an all natural product. When you ask her about the product she will pretty much tell you all about it and what is in. Just like she told Koffie. All you all have to do is call her!

Just like she has ask somebody on her to be a picture on her website, she called her grease after my daughter it was never on a label. perhaps it is because she considers me close to her. Some people on here are calling her Mom after their first conversation. All I can say about that is that she has a kindred kind of spirit.

But just incase you want a product named after you or a loved one, call her up an ask because she did say she had a lot of receipes that she hasn't put together yet.

To all of you all that are getting the grease I will see you at tail bone length.

This thread really makes me feel nervous about sharing info about products and methods that have helped my hair health.

p.s. gn1g, thanks sharing your experience and congrats on your hair growth.
