Now calm down ladies. This ain't mine...YET. This is my engagement ring model. It's faux, but an exact replica of what I want. My mom bought it for me from a vendor at the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mnt years ago. I fell in love with it instantly- and now that I'm 3 weeks shy of 24 it's still my favorite ring- Testament that it's stood the test of time.

It's funny the first time I wore it was on the 2nd date with the guy I'm seeing now. We even joked about it during the NYE couple's dinner.

*Flash Back* I was 18 year's old rocking this huge faux diamond at Morton's Steakhouse. It was pretty ridiculous b/c the ring didn't fit so I had on one of those plastic ring guards. Surrounded by grown people with real money. In the elevator going to dinner I told Mike the ring was not real. He leaned in and said, "We're working on changing that." :rolleyes:

LOVE this ring and I love the setting. I hate rings where the stone just sticks up, seems like it can get snagged so i like the solution in this setting. i'm also a huge fan of oval and round cuts
 
I know most of you ladies wouldn't have waited 7 years, but our focus has primarily been on our degrees. it hasn't always been easy, especially being in a LDR for 4 years....but this was worth the wait.

He proposed a few days after my 27th b-day ;-)

Here is my engagement ring. We had my bands custom made . I luv my ring !! I will be having a simple ceremony at the JP, then we have an amazing honeymoon in Jamaica .

Here is my ring on our wedding day in Seychelles, Africa. It is custom made so the band had to be custom made as well. It was not ready by the time we had to leave for Seychelles lol but that didn't stop us! :drunk::drunk: We just got married this past January! I should have the band in a few days! Can't wait:yep: I will post the set then:yep::yep:

Oooo, ladies I love these rings! MrsLBB Your photo is with the flowers is beautiful.

I'm so lame. I'll probably get a tattoo of a small "x" on my ring finger- as in "x marks the spot."
 
Reppin' for the smaller stones! :)

I told him I would want yellow gold and "simple and modest." That, I got. :)

But I'm OK with it. More than anything my rings remind me of the proposal. He made it so memorable.

Hard to believe we will celebrate our first wedding anniversary in 12 days!!
