Sometimes when you get to comfortable you can make people umcomfortable. He is beyond comfortabel with you and feels liek he can takl candidly. I had a white friend in hihg schhol and one day she said wassup my n!gga... Let that marinate... Okay I just stared at her for a second and then told her I thought she should never use that word. Even if she married a man and had 1000 black babies I still dont think it would ever be approriat for her to ues that word. She understood and we moved on. Still friends to this day and yes she married a black man and has 2 half black babies I think your partner feels the upmost comfort around you and doesnt even see you as 'one of them' anymore. Youre an exception to the rule. But for the rest of the blak population, he still sees them as black. Im sure if you wore a for (neat and nice) he'd think it looked okay on you.

What makes your coworker think he is the authority on what looks good and doesn't. So when he does this, does he expect you to sit there and overlook his statements, like you too are not a black woman.
If the tables were turned and you turned your nose up at something that is natural to them, how would he react.
