LMAO, i started to get 2 of every shampoo bar that was in stock but i had to tell myself "naw you only used the one you got once, slow down". imma be back though. i really cant wait to use the marsh mallow one. the smell is lighter than the rest an it actually feels softer too.

I'm addicted to Ida's soap/shampoo bars...I have..
Babassu&Marshmallow
Rosemary Aloe Lavendar
Neem Tea Tree
Olive Babassu Shampoo
Avocado Oats Shea
Chocolate Almond
Honey Butter
Honey Beer Egg (extra)
Herb Garden
Summer Sunshine
Lavendar Spice
Rosemary Mint

:D

I picked, "Yeah but wasn't impressed", only because I haven't found the right one yet. I've only tried Nasaab's black soap and the Ultimate Butter bar from Mia Symone. Both left my hair feeling stripped. I want to try Anita Grant's or Oyin's.

OMG!! I TRIED THAT ULTIMATE BUTTER BAR FROM MIA SIMONE ALSO. IT LEFT MY SKIN AND HAIR A HOT GHETTO MESS. NOW, I HAVE CHAGRIN VALLEY SHAMPOO BARs IN MY ROOM WAITING FOR USE...

I've been wanting to buy some of the chagrin valleybars....don't know which one I want to try first though.

Girl me to! Some Kind of Ultimate Butter, I just knew my hair was gonna be buttery soft the way she described all that butter in it, my hair went slap crazy, and her other bars was awful and had no fragrant.

I use the shikakai shampoo bar. I remember liking it when I first bought it but it did not work as well when I took out my braids I think I will try it again tonight without applying directly to my hair.LOL

I use Chagrin Valley. I love Ida and her bars.
The ones I use are:
-Neem and Tea Tree: Hair hated it, cleared up my acne
-Herbal Garden: Hair liked it a lot
-Nettle: Hair LOVED it
-Rosemary Mint: Hair LOVED it
-Mud and Clay: Occ. hair treat but really good
-Chamomile and Citrus: Cleans off the gunk without chemicals! Good clarifier, another good clarifier is Summer Sunshine...

I haven't tried Cafe Moreno (heard some good things), Honey Butter (so moisturizing it can be used as an alledged conditioner), or Honey Beer and Egg (next on sample list)

Don't be afraid to use these if you have hard water. Ida suggests an ACV rinse afterwards...

I've only tried one and that's Burt's Bees Baby Shampoo Bar:

http://www.burtsbees.com/webapp/wcs...Id=-9&catalogId=10051&storeId=10001&langId=-1

Bought it last spring, use it if I feel like switching things up.

Love it, Love it LOVE IT and would buy again whenever this one runs out.

WHOOPS almost forgot, I've tried one more; African Black Soap (the REAL one yellow colored w/chunks of plaintain in it) - hated it. Very drying and irritating to my skin.

Yeah that Ultimate Butter bar was so awful. It made me hate shampoo bars until I tried Chagrin Valley.....her bars are great!:yep:

I use Chagrin Valley - HONEY BEER. A little goes a long way. Customer service is excellent and the samples are quite ample. I only shampoo the scalp and let it drip down the rest of the hair. No drying but the eyes can sting a bit. The only issue I have is availability because bars have to be cured for some time before sale.

I've been using the shampoo bar from Mehandi.com. They are expensive, but worth every penny as far as I'm concerned. Gave away all of my other shampoos, well..except Aveda. But, since I've been using the bar shampoo, I haven't even felt the need to use the Aveda....I'll keep it around for an emergency.

I loved the Chagrin Valley nettle shampoo bar and the herb garden; did not care for the carrot, milk and honey and the butter bar. I never reordered, though, but I am thinking about it. Lately, I have been using the shikakai hair soap, Grandpa pine tar oil and Earth Soap's coconut oil bar. They have all worked extremely well for me, but I think I will go on the CV website and order the coconut milk and the nettle. My hair loves nettle. I infuse it into my oils and butters and make tea rinses and spritzes with it all the time.

If you don't mind, exactly which shampoo bars are you using?

I love the nettle and the coconut bars....I follow up with the honey butter soap and a little conditioner, sometimes ACV rinse but not usually because I'm lazy, IDK when last I touched my CON poor thang is sitting on my shelf getting dusty, *sigh*...
