Has anyone prepoo'ed with Burt Bees avocado pre shampoo? If so, did you like it? I have thin medium density relaxed hair and thinking about purchasing some.
Does anyone ever have problems washing all of the oil out of their hair? I normally pre poo and wash my hair every other day with a shampoo bar and my scalp is always extremely oily after it dries. I'm afraid that any leftover oil on my scalp will eventually go rancid on my scalp. I don't even use conditioner so I know for a fact that it is the oil making my hair so disgusting and greasy. I only use a few tablespoons of oil. How much oil are you guys using and exactly how much hair are you working with?
First ever 'Hair Smoothie' pre-treat
Busted out my NutriBullet for this one ya'll, lol! I've been itching to try an Avocado treatment as a pre-poo. But I always end up eating the avocado haha. So, my concoction includes:
-1 avocado
-1 tbsp Amla
-2 tbsp rhassoul clay
-4 tbsp coconut milk
-generous squirt of honey
-generous squirt castor oil
-1 cup hot water
Smells promising LOL
Excuse my acne.. Bout to let this sit for an hour.
Gonna see how a refined peanut oil pre-poo works overnight before a co-wash and DC in the morning. Finger detangling with the oil now. It's softening my hair the longer it sits. LOVE LOVE LOVE peanut oil!
I'd like to join this challenge. I've been using coconut oil and will probably continue to use only that. It always makes my hair so soft. I haven't done it over night yet. I'm going to try. It just means planning my detangling session a day early (`-_-)

Is it better to prepoo shampoo then deep condition your hair? Or do you see better results by mixing prepoo with deep conditioner and then shampooing?
narsinthemorning I don't have that greasy feeling after I poo; conversely, I'm not pre-poo'ing as often as you are. Chelating more often may help to combat this issue. HTH
