ya'll do realize at this rate, LHCF will never stay alive in Hollywood? :crystalba Once our tv series about haircare airs, many women will not watch because of the mean comments and bashing of other women. LHCF is gonna blow up in the tabloids :busted: and be cancelled on tv.:nono: this thread is a disservice to everyone. :down::down: :padlock: mods, where ya'll at?
 
lmao at all the comments left by lhcf some of them were very rude her hair looks fine she has more than some people here get off her case

I have to agree. Her hair was OK looking not really great in my book but if that's how she likes it so be it. doesn't really matter to me. I look and keep it moving. :ohwell:
 
I cringe when I see bad hair practices and advice, but if it works for said person, who am I to go against that? I put coconut grease on my ends, yes, the one with the blue top that costs a dollar. I don't grease my scalp, though.

I know a lot of folks who use grease religiously, but hey, it works for them....
 
Whats bad for some might be good for others and vise versa.

Maybe some of us should keep that in mind the next time we decide to come out the woodworks.

Her dorm room looks JUST like one of the dorm halls I stayed in at TSU. I'm almost convinced she goes there.

I don't think I've ever seen her before anyway.
 
I thought her hair looked great! on a scale from 1 to 10, i'd give it a 7.5-8 (minus points for thickness {i like ultra thick hair}, hairline and partial for length {it was long, but for me the longer the better and hair can always be longer}).

I may not agree with everything she says, but her methods might actually help someone out there! Its worked for her!

Also, she has more courage than me! No matter how long, lush, healthy or beautiful my hair got, I'd never post any diy hair vids for fear of someone scrutinizing my beloved methods.

i just hope she doesn't tell her friends to stay away from lhcf because of the negative comments... this really is a great place for hair care, and a lot of women have grown to great lengths because of this site!

eta: if i could have hair like that while relaxed... i'd probably still be relaxed! again, i thought her hair was beautiful)

Exactly! & She is 20 yrs old! My child is almost 19! I dont take kindly to a bunch of Bitter *Blanks* Teaming up on a child that didnt do *bleep* to them

I hope she does tell the truth about what went on here! Besides it's all up on YOUTUBE in everbody's face now anyway!

It just gets to me how some people can act so "holier than thou". I know good and d@m well most of us was walking around as teenagers doing the same thing. Grease didn't just come into existance. It has been around for years and all of our mothers and ancestors at some time have used it on our hair. I could only imagine if someone treated me in the way some of the girls from LHCF has did this girl. Pull out your greasy hair pics, because this girl isn't the only one that used these methods. I say it again.

yeah I really really felt like more extremely disgusted by this whole thing more than anything I have seen around the hair boards/groups in a long long time and I HAVE SEEN ALOT!
 
Ya I did not read the comments but I hope I would not be disappointed in people's responses to a young lady doing her thing. Based on what I am reading on here sounds like folks may have gotten nasty with young lady. I hope not. If so, why are people so MEAN? I mean really it ain't that deep!

I am so glad she pulled out her DGAF (don't give a funck) card. We need to start treating one another as if we were in person and face to face. We know most people say things because they have the ability to hide behind a computer screen. But I will say it isn't cute anymore and its darn right childish. I am a nice person and have been taught to respect others. I just guess some people missed that lesson growing up. I am so happy I possess a platinum DGAF card. :yep:

Okay she uses grease,so what? LHCF, isn't the only place that has women with long hair (it may not be in my state but someone else somewhere has long hair and is doing all kind of things to achieve it)


Whoever left those comments needs to really get over themselves, long hair and a ugly character is not a cute look. Really is it that deep? You would have thought she was downngrading herself or something the way the "rescue squad" was on it! It is just hair people!

I just got around to reading this thread and from reading the comments on youtube. It seems this young lady is damned if she do and damned if she don't. All she did was offer advice to achieve longer/healthier hair. I mean how much harm can she cause someone's hair is their hair is already damanged? It seems to me like she would be helping them. Why was this thread even started in the first place? Mods need to make this thread dissapper seriously because it's taking up space. Jmail if you're reading this and I'm sure you are. LHCF is really a very supportive site and whenever/IF you decide to join, there's really sincere and genuine women who will warmly welcome you.

ETA: The moral of this thread is HATING ON OTHER'S HAIR DOES NOT MAKE YOU PRETTY:/

Her hair looks good though. A bit too much combing and rough handling but she culd easily have MBL-WL hair if she really wanted too by being a bit gentler.

I didn't read the comments either, but I can't stand people always putting their two cents in just to be negative. I always say do what works for you. When I was relaxed and doing everything "wrong", my hair still looked decent. What works for you isn't going to work for everyone else, get over it, and get over yourselves.

ETA-I use grease(Dudley's Creme Press), sleep on cotton pillow cases(every night), and my hair loves dirt.
