Name the one product that turned your hair around.

I would say my silk scarf, although it is not really a product. Prior to having a 100% silk scarf, I had a polyester one. I noticed that my cuticles laid smoother because of the silk scarf, it also seemed like my hair was able to retain more moisture. I spend a lot of time in a scarf, sleeping ,even chilling around the house, that $20 investment was so worth it!

Kenra Clarifying/Chelating Shampoo. Co-washing is NOT for me, especially not with this hard water we have around here. I washed with this stuff and deep conditioned under heat for an hour and OH MY GOD, my hair felt GREAT!! Then I put Roux Porosity Control Conditioner on it and that kind of messed it up, so I think I'll just save that for relaxer time or whatever. But yeah. My hair was getting SO dry and crunchy from those co-washes and I had no idea why. Well now I know and I will never do that again. The Kenra shampoo is extremely gentle and I feel like I can use it at every wash. I'm tempted to get a stronger chelating shampoo in case I have a lot more mineral deposits, but I guess with continued use of the Kenra my hair will be BANGIN'! :drunk:

I should really start seeing progress now that all these great products I'm putting on my hair will actually be able to get to my hair now.

Aveda Damage Remedy Line. It was the only line that softened my hair and stopped my ends from popping off.

water......

Yep for me too! As well as my new found beloved Elucence Line. Seyani hair butter I definitely can't leave out. Oh and my coconut oil. I know you said one...sorry..all these are contributing to the health of my hair and turning it around. :-D

I have 3:
1) Paul Mitchell Supercharged - dc'd 2x/wk for 6 mos at the start of my journey
2) Joico K-pak shampoo/conditioner - HG
3) Dabur Vatika oil - prevents split ends/thickens hair

I wouldn't say it turned my hair around but it has given me hope about being able to detangle/maintain my natural hair...and that product is gro aut oil. My hair loves it.

Lots of things have helped turn my hair around- giving up heat, DCing,

& Joico of course but for me it's the drug combo:MSM, biotin & silica.

My hair used to be so skinny now it's much thicker and since I've not

taken them in so long due to medical reasons I noticed that I can go

much longer without relaxing. More proof they help with my hair growth: I

have this one stubborn hair on my chin that I pluck out regulary and while

I was off my pills I hadn't seen him in ages; a couple of days ago I took

my first pills again and I swear about an hour later he was popping out

again!:lachen:
which brands are you using for MSM,silica and biotin?
thanks

Lots of things. But - Deep conditioning was the key.

Tossing the commercial stuffin the trash also changed everything.

Once a month I clarify with con clarifying shampoo. Then use aphogee 2 minute reconstructor for protein. Follow with moisturizing roux porosity control. Deep condition with a mixture of ors, evoo, and half capful of silk amino acids under a heating cap for 20 minutes. detangle under running water. The comb glides through and your hair is soft as butter. Air dry with quarter size of chi silk infusion and bun. Adjust for hairlength. I'm currently bsb.

Once a week, I co-wash with joico moisturizing conditioner, deep condition with ors, evoo, and silk amino acids. Air dry with chi silk infusion and bun.

These are my staples and I swear by them.
