Proclaim Glossing Polish.

I bought this because it is on sale at Sally's and I was on the last of my Fantasia Serum (pink bottle). I like this and I think I will continue to use it.
It is a little less thick as the Fantasia and is giving me less of that silicone, almost "fake" shine, which good, too, I guess.

It is cheaper than Fantasia, even when it is not on sale. I don't see it as often as the Fantasia, but it takes me a very long time to use an entire bottle of it. While it is on sale this month at Sally's I may even get another on just to take advantage.

Edited to add:

It is actually the Proclaim Glossing Polish Color & Heat Protection
631515.jpg

I bought this and the silk elements heat protectant. I was going to take it back but since our hair seem to like the samethings, I'll keep it.

HITS:::thumbsup:

Praital Rinse
(I like the poo too, but I like the rinse much better- nice & light-weight)

Lacio Lacio
(I love the smell. I can only use a little though. Too much & it makes my hair kinda limp. Gives nice shine!)

CHI Conditioner
(Very smoothing to my hair)

Indigo (w/henna)
(made my hair dark brown- but I LIKEY!!!)

MISSES:::perplexed

Any oils- if not used as a pre-poo, weighs my hair down terribly!!

Miss: My old hairdresser and hairdressers that insist that straw sets can't be performed on natural hair.

Hits: Biolage Shampoo, ICON Moisture Mask, Paul Mitchell's the Conditioner
My friend told me that Biolage Shampoo is nourishing for the hair but I didn't believe her. When I was in CA this past Feb. I purchased samples of all of these and these work great. My sides have started to grow in. Also, less frequent combing has helped as well.

Oh....my girl Vixxen hooked me up with a LOVELY birthday hair product box  ...where she included the Proclaim Natural 7 Oil....that stuff smells Heavenly! I instantly fell in love with it...that sucker is a KEEPER...

Glad you liked the goodies!! I'm sending the DMM today so be on the look out!!

Now, I've done some reviewing of products this month and I can finally post!

Hits

Softresses Strengthening Treatment (I didn't know what else to call it!!) :look: (Aphogee 2 Step Conditioner, Dark and Lovely Cholesterol and Castor Oil). My hair LOVES this concoction!!

Silk Elements Cholesterol - I love the way this smells!

Roux 619 leave in Vials (Thanks HoneyDew for the posts on this one!)

Vatika Oil for my edges, this amazingly is WORKING to fill them back in....(along with a few other indian oils in the mix) :notworthy

Parachute Jasmine Hair Oil, the smell is very nice!

Powdered sulphur, works great for growth but my once smooth new growth has left me as soon as this was introduced again. Now I know for sure that the sulphur powder with my oils has something to do with the 'coarseness' of my new growth :(

Suave Milk & Honey Conditioner...why did I ever sleep on this?

NTM Creamy Lather Shampoo, I reviewed this last month but it bears repeating...

Misses

Rusk Smoother My hair just will not be SMOOTH with this stuff in it. It makes it rough and unmanageable (Mo, you interested?)

There's more but it's gym time, I'll come back and update!

Still Evaluating

Viviscal Hair Supplement (I'm 6 days into my second box)

What's on the radar for next month:

Optimum Mineralizing Relaxer...

I really like it. I think its a keeper. I like that it is over $2 cheaper than the Fantasia IC that I have been usign for some time now.

Hits: Lacio Lacio leave in for a roller set

Misses:

Getting a Dominican blow out...I got a relaxer and blow out 2 weeks ago and my hair has been shedding non stop. I know it was from that heat from the dryer...I did a henna treament and I'm good now.

Silk Wrap..it really didn't turn out any different from just doing a wrap after my roller set and be done.

on the fence: garneier fructris leave in conditioner. my hair came out dry and didn't have much shine to it and i think it made my hair tangle at the ends, i never have a problem detangling. but the dryness might have been from protein overload, i will try it again

My hair loves the 619 too but where can we buy it in bulk? Man $2 a vial is not working for my pocket.

My hair isn't feeling the Rusk smoother either.

HoneyDew bought them from MetroBeauty for $18.99 (pack of 12), they've since raised the price to $22.00. You got a better deal than I, I bought them locally and they were $3.00 each. :look:

I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for a Sally's special... I can hit 4 of them during my lunch hour :sekret:

Yeah, the Rusk is going to get one more try and then I'm pretty sure it's going to be looking for a new home.

I noticed that they changed the price. What's up with that!!!??? I will be taking advantage of the BOGO free deals when Sally's has them.

YES Girl! My old hairdresser used to tell me never to buy anything with "Africa" in the name. I think she was refering to life pre-Africa's Best, like maybe Africa's Pride products. You guys remember those???? Well, ever since my family has been using these products (esp. Kids Organics), my little (god) sister is growing a beautiful head of natural curly hair in a matter of WEEKS. Like, 2 WEEKS!!! We couldn't get her hair to grow as a baby and her mother would put braids and weaves in her hair. I told my mom to take that ratty fake hair off her head and braid the girl's own head using Kids Organics Protein and Vitamin Remedy. The nape part of her hair is catching up to her crown and for the first time in her life we can wear her hair in 3 ponytails!!!! My hair is in braids so i can't tell you how its doing right now... but i was using it before braids and leaves my hair shiny and soft. The Detangling Shea Butter Lotion is really good to control the two textures of my transitioning head.

Trying Dabur Jasmine Oil for the first time. The smell isn't as strong as Amla, but... i think my bottle is old bc i can't smell any jasmine???
Also trying Surge 14 and Lenzi's Request after the bottle runs out. Tell ya how that goes next month.

That’s funny because I don’t really like the stuff I have a 2/3 container left of it and I have been trying to think of ways to get rid of it, I like Giovanni direct and sleek and shine creamy leave ins MUCH better.
