I'm glad you liked the aubrey. It is fabolous!!

Hit:
Dominican blowout!!!
Joico K-Pak. Good stuff. Hair felt sronger, but methinks that a regular Aphogee treatment or keraphix will suffice.

Miss:
PM Supercharged. Not moisturizing or slippy enough. I'll be sticking to 10 en 1 mixed with goodies.

Hit - ORS Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion (the one in the bottle). This product actually surprised me, because I find it more effective at moisturizing my hair than the ORS olive oil creme that comes in the jar. It's very rich and leaves the hair incredibly moist.

Miss - Mizani H2O night time treatment. It's okay. The ORS olive oil lotion is more effective and is a lot cheaper than this product.
Silk elements leave-in moisturizer; initially this goes on moist but dries hard and I usually have to seal it with oil. Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner; the shampoo is okay but I don't find the conditioner particulary moisturizing.

It is not all that for me either. I used it long before the raves and did not really care for it then. I am not sure why I tried to revisit it after everyone raved about it - I still did not like it. Now it is about 90% full and collecting dust. :ohwell:

Back for more!

Hits:
Joico K-Pak Reconstructor
Joiko Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm
SheaMoisture Leave-In

Hits: Dr Bronners Almond (thought it would be too harsh-NOT AT ALL)
Avalon Organics (didn't feel soft until I rinsed it and wow virtually no tangles)
Hit and Miss: Alma/shikikai/aritha paste; hair was so shiny paste is just messy as all get out, you have to rinse very good, and powder gets in the back of my throat.

Hits: Vitale Lye Relaxer (sensitive scalp)
Vitale pre foundation conditioner
Vitale positive conditioner
Vitale Neutralizing shampoo
Results: That elusive shine I've been trying to acheive for years now. My hair also acts better.

Misses: so far none. The only major change in my regimen since Feb has been the lye relaxer, the best thing that has ever happened to me and my hair!!!!

I also had really great results with Vitale products!

My hits were:
Vitale Tangle Phree shampoo. Really moisturizing and great slip.
Vitale Super Conditioning Reconstructor: My hair was strong and moisturized after using this.
Vitale Wrap lotion: I used this for my roller set. My hair came out really shiny and bouncy.

I will be trying more products in this line and the Vitale Pro line.

Hits:

Aveda Cherry Almond Bark Conditioner
Alma Oil (stinky) mixed with ORS mayo as pre-poo (ooooo so soft hair)
AO Honeysuckle rose cond. as a dc (amazing softness, no tangles!)
S-Curl sealed with coconut oil or evoo
ORS Olive Oil in jar
NTM DDC For co-wash
Nexxus Humectress for co-wash

Don't know yet:

Amla oil solo
ORS Replinishing pak
CHI Silk Infusion (will try tonight)
Fantasia IC Heat protection Serum (will try tonight)
FHI Flat Iron (will try tonight)

Miss:

Dove sheer moisture mist (didn't do much of anything for my hair)

I must stop buying so many products!

Okay, I just used the FHI flatiron. It was a huge hit! I used the CHI Silk Infusion all over while my hair was wet and added a bit of the Fantasia serum to each dry section. I found that to be too much. I liked my hair better w/o the serum.

Hits:
Curls Milkshake, Souffle, Whipped Cream, and Curly Custard
(I ordered samples of all of their products from Sistas Place, and so far me likey. Everything smells like creamy coconut and provides nice shine and even helped tame my frizzies. Excellent for braidouts).

Miss: Jason Jojoba Conditioner
(not moisturizing enough for my hair, made it feel dry and dull, so this will be mixed into a conditioner cocktail).

Hits:
Tresemme Moisture Rich Conditioner- This stuff is so rich and creamy, it's insane. You get so much for your money too. I also used it after washing as a leave-in too, it's really versatile.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil: A great sealant on dry hair, doesn't leave hair greasy, instead it locks in moisture and leaves it moisturized and supple.

Softee Indian Hemp Hair Treatment: Only a buck at Walgreens, this stuff smells delicious and is my favorite grease so far. Great for sealing in moisture post wash.

Misses: :)
none

Hey, I only learn from the best! LOL :D I'll have to try the yogurt with henna, next!:p

You will love it I bet!

Hey did you try the Vive Nutri-Gloss in the bottle or tube. I have tried both and they seem very much alike - same price though. :look: Maybe I will notice a difference after I use them more often.

I think you will like it. Because of Honeydew's great reviews on it, I decided to get it. I'm glad I did. Go to Sallys, thats where I got mine.

Tigi Ego Boost split end mender...Love this it was recommended a few post back. When I use this my curls just pop and my ends are no longer dry & fragile.
