Longer hair...difficult washing

I washed my hair this morning in sections. I parted down the middle, washed and conditioned. It was a different experience altogether. I love it! My hair is only shoulder length, but it tends to tangle. Using this method, I had no tangles. I now have it air drying in two ponytails.
