Walgreens. You got yours for a GOOD price! Wish I found that sale.

Lacio Lacio:    First of all, I am soo glad I found this board because w/o this forum, I would've never learned of or even purchase Lacio Lacio. This leave-in conditioner is the absolute best leave-in conditioner I've ever used. Combing my hair was an absolute dream. I applied a generous amount to my freshly shampooed/dc'd hair. I then sectioned my hair into six parts and then combed and braided each section and left my hair to airdry. This smells soo good and left my hair feeling silky and shiny. This will now be my staple leave-in and I plan to order some more soon. I'm looking forward to my next wash so that I can use this again. I am that impressed.

Motions CPR Protien Reconstructor:

This was great. It did as it said and my hair feels stronger as a result. I've been looking for a protien reconstructor to use weekly and I think this will be it. I did extensive conditioning by leaving it in for 5 min w/o heat and then w/heat for the remaining 10 min.

I love that CPR!

GOD is good. S/He answered my prayer (well partially).

:D Hits:

Silicon Mix Leave-In as a deep conditioner. Someone gave me some of this and I was trying to wait for my silicon mix conditioner to come in the mail but I couldn't. Plus the ingredients are very similiar to the conditioner. I slathered this stuff on dry hair, DCed, rinsed and proceded to detangle. This 9 week post-relaxer negrowth behaved and detangling was a freakin' breeze. LORD, please let the silicon mix conditioner work this good. But this leave-in is a def. keeper and it smells like nice baby powder.

Motions moisture plus conditioner: Made my hair hard:mad: ! I had to use my Garnier Sleek and shine so my hair could recover:grin: ! I wanted to like it, I even bought a big tub of it since so many ladies raved about it. I guess it works better on relaxed, I natural:mad: .

Distilled water: Made my hair hard. Garnier Sleek and Shine came to the rescue:grin: .

I've had success with other Motions products in the past when I was relaxed, but when I tried Moisture Plus on my natural hair it was just okay...no fireworks lol. I just gave mine to my mom for her relaxed hair.

I'm glad it wasn't just me:) . I took that baby where I got it, back the BSS.

Coconut Oil- I thought it was a miss before but I think I like it now. Especially using it with a conditioner. It helps me not over apply conditioner because of it's sort of creamy texture.

Hit: Garnier conditioners

I used the length and strength one and it made my hair soft and smooth. I don't know what it is that fruit concentrate to make it work so good but I don't care. I just hope they keep curning out new products.

Even though I said no more new products until March...

Miss: ORS Olive Oil Lotion

At first I liked it, but instead of moisturizing, it just sits on top of my hair. Me no likey!

I have a bottle sitting under my bathroom sink. It's just too heavy for my hair. I can tolerate some mineral oil in products, but this just has too much in it for my hair's liking. Damn shame, too, because I really wanted to like it!:nono:

Hit: Kan Kanchomn Jaborandi Deep conditioning cream. My hair was very easy to detangle and I love the smell.

Hit revisited: Gary Null' Heavenly Hair Cleanser with a shot of ACV.

Hits:
Aubrey's Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner. Major moisture and slip in a bottle. It also gave my hair lots of volume. But I'm still sticking to my tropical milk conditioner cause it's cheaper and it also gives me moisture and major slip :/

GPB: Major Hit says my sis. The ingredients have changed and it's now more moisturizing than before.

Misses: No misses yet

Hit: Silk Elements Leave-In Hair Moisturizing Creme... This is the 1 conditioner that I found that's not too heavy on my hair and it smells good

Misses: None

I have the shampoo, conditioner, and cholesterol. But I didn't know there was a leave-in conditioner. Gonna have to try that.

Dynamic1-Have you tried any more of the Kan Kancho.. conditioners? The shea butter one looks good.

Hit: Reformulated Optimum Relaxer in SUPER!!! My hair finally became straight, and I have not had any extra shedding/breaking/thinning:D .

Pre-pooing with a mix of coconut milk, plain yogurt, rhassoul clay and irish moss -- uber-soft hair that I could run my fingers through with no snags or tangles; I almost did not want to shampoo after this...

Back to Basics Ginger Therapy conditioner

Nubian Heritage black soap with shea butter and aloe

VO5 Creamy Fresh Peaches shampoo

Adding rosewater, coconut milk, honey and natural apple cider vinegar to Nature's Gate Rainwater Aloe and Kelp heat activated conditioner, putting on plastic cap and getting under dryer for deep conditioning...I just do not know that it is possible for my hair to have come out any softer, silkier and tangle-free...I think with this I have hit my terminal softness level.

Coconut milk is my new best friend!

Miss
Qhemet Biologics Herbs and Sulfur pomade -- so thick and heavy and paste-like, I cannot even get it out of the jar and the little I do get out of the jar, it does not well when I rub my hands together to melt it although I think it the consistency is probably better in warmer months. I am very surprised that I did not like this.

Maybe
Black Seed Body Care daily conditioning pomade -- rock hard, waxy, have to scrape with finger nails, but still will not melt when I rub my hands together....However, I did manage to get a little bit on a tendril of hair and curled it; the tendril was light, shiny, bouncy; the strands of hair separated beautifully, like when hair is curled right after a fresh relaxer, so it looks like it will be a great heat protectant/serum substitute when flat-ironing. It also smells wonderful, but it definitely cannot be used for daily conditioning...

HIT:

Soft as Silk/Bio-essentials Potent-e Leave-in treatment.

They ALWAYS use this for my rollersets at the Dominican Salon so I decided to pick some up last week. My set came out flawless! It's very light, almost misty and gave my hair so much body. It's a keeper for me! :)

I LOVE your new cut! It's fabulous.....
Im interested in this leave-in you mentioned, even though I love my giovanni leave-in, im always on the prowl for something better :sekret:
Just wondering if it's available online or exclusively at your salon.
Tks

You don't like it? What's the problem? Did you get the resin ones from Hairsense. I am curious because I love mine...

I'll know if I TRULY hate it once I relax this weekend. I thought I'd be able to comb through my hair with the bone comb while stretching and not lose any hair. I tried that when I washed a few days ago and it was a H.A.M.

I'm also on the fence about whether or not what I received from Hairsense was even a "real" bone comb. Looks kinda plastic to me....

I am not sure I like this one either. I am holding on to it for now, but it is collecting dust right now.

I am very surprised at this because I have gone pomade crazy, so I thought that I could not possibly go wrong with a QB pomade since I love their olive and honey hydrating balm (one of the few products I discovered and which did well on my hair BEFORE I found LHCF) the alma and olive heavy cream and the sidr tree butter balm. Go figure!
