Try this combination 2part activator gel and 1part castor oil. Then tie my hair down with a scarf. Let me know how it works.

I'm going to try that on my next wash day....I already 2 strand twisted my hair by time I saw this post. I will let you know how it works out. Thanks! :)

Hit - Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm. FINALLY, something stopped my 'dry hair syndrome' in its tracks  :notworthy

Miss - None......yet

You're welcome Letitia! It's very economical too. You don't have to slather your hair with two cups of it to see results. I have had my bucket for 3+ months and I am less than halfway through, and I gave a 1lb jar sample to my mom to use. :D (but I am gonna buy another one soon anyway!) Oh, and don't forget to send along any products you don't want! :)

Hit:
Proclaim Natural 7 Oil
OMG! This stuff is awesome. I think it's gonna replace my $15 bottle of Keracare Essential oils! (It's on sale for 2.99 at Sally's this month!:D )

Awwww shucks now.....

*jotting down to pick up*

V05 Strawberry Milks Conditioner for co-washing. My hair doesn't like traditional cowashing, so maybe I will try it again on using my Conditioner, Then, Rinse method.

We need a Motions Gang Sign!! Motions is taking over top spot from Humecto in 2007!

I just spit!

*I am gonna look like I'm spastic...throwing up NTM and Motions gang signs...*

HUGE HIT

BRX braid spray...on the advice of Bmoreflyygirl - It stopped my weave itchies almost immediately.

Hits: Hemp Seed, Alma, Coconut and Castor oils as pre-poo
Hemp Seed Conditioner (Thanks D)
Proclaim Natural 7(Thanks C-sweetie)

Misses: Possibly Beyond the Zone Straigth Shot..I will try it again but it won't be for awhile.

Hit: Amazing Length Anti Thinning Herbal Gro
I've been using this for exactly one month and it makes my scalp feel great!! I had micros and one of my braids got yanked out on the edge and left me with a slight bald spot. After using this for a month the spot grew in completely and its thicker than before. This is definitely a keeper for me!!

This sounds good. I have tried this many times with the Heavy Cream and it just wasn't agree with my hair at all. Maybe it was the airdrying on wet hair that made me dislike that one. I might have to try the Sidr Tree. I was just talking about this with TSU yesterday. Thanks Honey Dew.

CRLsweetie.....You right about that Motions taking over. I promise it is a dream!

I am sooooo excited about how soft this has made my hair after airdrying. A little goes a long way! I just had to send Qhemet an email about it. It does not seem to be working as well on my dry hair.

Hit: Jane Carter's Nourish and Shine :D

I've been searching for an all natural daily moisturizer and I am really pleased so far. My hair feels great!!!! :)

Girl, I wouldn't lie to ya!

Here's a list of everything I've tried: Humecto (still a favorite, but lately the batches have been getting a little watery?), Fiberguard Sustenance, Paul Mitchell Supercharged, Kenra MC, TIGI Moisture Maniac & Oatmeal & Honey, Sebastian Laminates, Regis Olive Oil, Biolage Conditioning Balm, Mizani Moisturefuse, Kpak....
I could go on and on, but you get the point :lachen:

This is the #1 conditoner, that leaves my hair feeling moist after its dried :clapping: That's seriously an accomplishment b/c my hair is going through a crisis right now :cry3: (but that's a whole 'nother thread)

Good luck if you try it!

Hit: My new drawstring phony pony (Dena Cali "Hot Spring" Short). This is my first drawstring pony. It's not too long, and I find that it's very versatile. I actually have it twisted into a sort of "bun" today, and it looks very natural! (Of course, I'm baggying underneath too!).

Thanks. I have seen this but never picked it up.
**I am not trying anything BUT... Have you tried Motions Moisture Plus in place of your Humecto? The ladies here have made me a believer. If you ever wanna switch things up, give it a trial run.

I ordered mine from ebonyline.com. It was only $9.99, too! They seem to have pretty good prices on drawstring ponies. I never saw any that I liked in regular BSS.

I used Motions back in the day before I began using 'high end' haircare. I remember LOVING the lavish shampoo (?) I don't remember the conditioner, but I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Hit: Silicon Mix. Was I under a rock??? Man I'm slow! I had the best airdried hair ever. Nice, smooth, soft and fluffy like.

Misses: none

I am so curious about this Rajasthani Henna, I use Jamila but am dying to try it:look:. What makes it better than jamila in ur opinion?

Jamila was still making my hard a little hard after wash out, but rajasthani left my hair strong but really soft and smooth. The color is a much deeper red and makes my hair almost black, which I like. I've never had black hair before and it's really nice with my brown skin.
