I am very surprised at this because I have gone pomade crazy, so I thought that I could not possibly go wrong with a QB pomade since I love their olive and honey hydrating balm (one of the few products I discovered and which did well on my hair BEFORE I found LHCF) the alma and olive heavy cream and the sidr tree butter balm. Go figure!

and i bought 2 jars :look:

I'll know if I TRULY hate it once I relax this weekend. I thought I'd be able to comb through my hair with the bone comb while stretching and not lose any hair. I tried that when I washed a few days ago and it was a H.A.M.

I'm also on the fence about whether or not what I received from Hairsense was even a "real" bone comb. Looks kinda plastic to me....

The comb is made of resin, not bone. If you are over 8 weeks post or more, no comb (including the "bone") will be a 1-2-3 detangle. Even though I use the bone comb, I still have to take my time and be gentle when I detangle.

Dynamic1-Have you tried any more of the Kan Kancho.. conditioners? The shea butter one looks good.

No, that is the only one I tried thus far. The Shea butter one peaked my curiosity too. But I have my eyes on UNa right now.

Miss: Using Cheapie conditioners as Moisturizer. My hair hated it! I used it for 4 days.

Garnier Fructis Long and Strong Leave in (used as a leave in) - I did not really like this. I don't know it kinda coated my hair. My shine was not there after my hair dried.

Didn't they change the name? It's Length and Strength now. I have owned this for some time and just decided to use it.

Okay, here goes...

Miss: AO Honeysuckle Rose Cond- Didnt do a damn thing to my hair.

Miss : Aveda DR Line- I know everybody loves this but all it did was make my hair a tangled *** mess.

Im just gonna stick to what I know which is Keracare Hydrating poo and Humecto. No more trying new stuff. Enough is enough!!!!

I wonder what everyone like about it compared to other products. I tried a sample of the products and it was not all that. I did not get tangles, but it just wasn't anything to write home about. Maybe it has longterm results.

Castor oil is the BOMB! I used that Queen Helene cholesterol stuff and it made my hair frizzy and hard. I put castor oil (from vitamin shoppe) on my hair last night, baggied the ends, put it up today and I just took it down and my hair is so SOFT!!!! IT is my HIT of the month!!

Hits:

-AtOne Dry, Itchy Scalp Shampoo
Only thing is, It gave me NO slip whatsoever. But afterwards i used CON green label, and my scalp was STILL tingly!

-Organics Shea Butter & Tea Tree Oil Moisterizer

Miss:

-AtOne Reconstructor Conditioner...didn't do much of anything, and toooo sticky

Don't miss it!
Cantu Leave-in Conditioner (with shea butter #2 in gredients ;) ) is off the chart. This stuff is yummy to smell and leaves super soft & shiny hair.

And Cantu Daily Moisturizer. All I can say is if your looking for an "oilier" moisturizer (maybe for sealing) this stuff is awesome.

Shea-Butter is my new PJ paraphanalia!

Kinky Twists - I hate these things! The ends tangled and all the braids aren't the same length so it's hard to pull back into one ponytail. But I can't take them out or my mom might take off my head.

Hey girl, to me it wasnt anything special. But you may like it, though:) Remember when I wanted to trash my Humectress and you almost fainted cuz you like it so much?

Another hit for me: Herbal Essences Break's Over Strengthening Leave-In Creme

Smells good, very moisturizing, does what it claims, and has coconut milk in it (I <3 coconut milk)

It's got a nice consistency. It's thick but not heavy. It's hard to explain, but it has become one of my favorites.

WGO on dry hair

Awwwwwww, what don't you like about WGO on your dry hair? I just put some on as a sealant a few minutes ago, and my hair feels awesome! I even de-stinkified the WGO with some peppermint oil.

Mine isn't destinkified, that's the problem. :look: I have used WGO on damp hair where the smell isn't an issue. But my dry hair really trapped that WGO smell. I had bunned so by the time I took my hair down, it had been marinating in that special WGO smell. :perplexed

I have other products that make my hair feel good, so I'm gonna lay the WGO to the side, since the bottle is almost finished anyway.

Ahhh, I see. It definitely has a "special" smell. And you're right, it's much less noticeable on damp hair.
