I know Im late but I henna'd and indigo'd. Came out beautifully.
I am really surprised at the the henna I used. Its Karishma Herbal Henna. I didnt release the dye. Just pour and mixed with water and V05 conditioner, then apply. Then I sat under my hooded dryer for 45mins. It DYED MY NEW GROWTH BRIGHT AUBURN. I was like what...but I didnt release, just mix and immediately apply. Another reason why I love Karishma Herbal Henna:
-Rinses Clean
-Great mix of other ayurvedic herbs like Amla etc.
-Bright coloring (if you want that)
-Dye hair without overnight release or adding acid (if you set it with heat)
Now its black again.
