Long time lurker checking in again. After much deliberation...hemming and hawing....I've decided to BKT this weekend. I love my natural hair, but really miss rollersets. I can flat iron my natural rollersets, but want to be able to rollerset, wrap with saran, and go. Excited!!!

I'm going to do the BKT (DreamHair) this evening, deep condition with Alter Ego Impac Ego with garlic and Salerm Wheatgerm, and do the second wash (rollerset) on Saturday.

Friday-
prepoo with coconut oil
wash with hair one olive oil
aphogee 2 min treatment
dc with pantene time renewal
damp bun

saturday and sunday-
cowash and damp bun

Braidout today and tomorrow.

Saturday night: Wash, DC and put in Braids (no extensions), I'll try to keep them in for 3 weeks this time.

Well, I actually did my hair on Wednesday. I had a blow dry and a flat iron. However, I know I am going to the gym today. I will need to do something with my sweated out hair, so I will be styling tonight. I tried a bantu knot out on my damp hair not too long ago and did not like it too much. I am going to try another one tonight on my dry, straight hair. I hope it comes out a lot nicer than last time. However, probably by Sunday night and at the latest Monday I will:

  1. pre-poo with Global Goddess overnight (if I am lazy for only 1 hour)
  2. hair one olive oil - for cleansing and light conditioning
  3. Oyin Honey Hemp for detangling
  4. Deep Conditioning Treatment with Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose and Jessicurl's Weekly Deep Conditioning Treatment
  5. Then wet bunning for the week (a part of the protective style challenge and I have taken my 1st pass at heat and need to get back on it)
I will post some pics of my twist out if it comes out better!

Girls weekend coming up with 7 friends and 7 daughters. I've got two heads to do so I'm doing a pre poo with coconut oil. Will wash and then dc w/heat for 45 min. Then I'll do 2 strands for both of us.

Clarify with ORS and Suave (2 washes)
black ion rinse
air dry in sections
Apply Softliss BKT
blow dry
flat iron
and wrap.

I did a sew-in Monday with hair I have never used. Its Sensational Yaki Perm hair. I love the texture, swang, blending, ability to hold a curl, thickness and heaviness. I am in:love:

Lightly spray w/ Aphogee Keratin & Green Tea, then pre-poo with a mixture of Aphogee 2 min and ORS Replenishing Pak.

Apply 4 oz distilled vinegar/water to rinsed hair, then poo with Elasta for Relaxed hair.

Finally, deep con for 1 hr with Hair One OO CC.

The next day I'll color with Bigen!

Today I am exactly 3 months post! Wooohooo! My original intentions were to stretch for 6 months, but I have a feeling when I hit 6 months I'll either continue to stretch or begin the transitioning process. We'll see.

I DCed overnight with Oyin Honey Hemp Conditioner. (My absolute favorite conditioner of all time...er..thus far. HANDS DOWN!) So when I woke up, I rinsed with very warm/hot water, did an oil rinse with Oyin HH and almond oil. Allowed the hair to dry some. I used Oyin HH for a third time as a light leave-in, then moisturized the NG and ends with Jane Carter Nourish and Shine and ran over the length of the hair for added moisture and seal. I did eight large bantu knots for air drying.

EDIT: AVC/cold rinse after oil rinse.

Tomorrow: Not sure if I will remoisturize and redo bantu knots or prep for a wash day, which is usually Sunday.

Well Fridays are usually my beauty days~ Gotta get fly for the weekend to sit around and do nothing :look::lachen:

I will be washing
Deep Conditioning for 1 hour with Silicon Mix
Rollerset with Lacio Lacio

-Wash braids with Oyin Honey Wash
-DC with Lekair cholesteral until i feel like rinsing it out (an hour at the least)
- DC with Oyin Honey Hemp Conditioner for 15 minutes
-Pat dry
-Moisturize with Oyin Whipped Pudding
-Seal with JBCO
-Allow braids to air dry
-Wear a wig until Wednesday

This weekend I will:
-wash with CON Ultra Moisturizing shampoo (I still have 2 old bottles from before they added sulfates)
-DC - I'll either try the Tresemme masque for the first time or I'll see if Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose works better than it did last time
-use my Abba Leave-in and maybe I'll try the Motions Foaming Wrap Lotion I bought last week
-do flat twists and air dry overnight
-do a twistout the next morning

9th: DC on dry hair with LustraSilk Cholesterol with EVOO and Coconut Oil

10th: Co wash with V05 Strawberry & Cream Condit. Moisturize with Motions Triple Action Leave In & seal with EVOO and C/Oil

11th MY BDAY: Down the islands for the day :) **woot woot**

Deep Conditioning on Saturday. I really need to stop being lazy and twist my hair but I may end up flat ironing it.

I just deep conditioned and did a braid out.

I still might go buy some more henna and do another treatment. Henna makes my hair feel soft and strong like when I was a child.
