It's Saturday, what are you doing with your hair?

Here's the pic of today's wash n' go.

I washed (no cond) since I have to wash tomorrow anyway. After I washed I detangled and oiled it with coconut oil parted my hair and out it in buns on either site so I look like princess Leia.

I put Monoi oil on my hair earlier today to marinate and I just washed with WEN Fig condish. I have the WEN rehydrating Lavender mask on for the next couple of hours. I'll then rinse, wrap and dry under my Pibbs...the end:grin:.

I shampooed with Profectiv Neutralizing Mousse. This is good for bringing pH down and closing the cuticle. (similar to an ACV or Porosity Control treatment). Then I bootleg steamed with a mix of QP Intense, QP BCS, Kenra Platinum Mango Butter Moisturizer, Unreel Penetrating Emollient Treatment, & Philosophy Shear Splendor Masque for 10 minutes.

My bootleg steaming consists of me placing a towel in hot water & wringing it out and wrapping it around my head. Then I place a conditioning cap over the towel and go under the dryer which keeps the towel warm/hot.

I rinsed and sprayed soaking wet hair with Unreel Protective Strengthening Spray and rubbed in a dab of Sebastian Potion 9.

I am air drying right now--hair feels great. I think I'll finish up with some Organix CO serum and satin rollers.

i was about to break down and just full out relax my hair straight this weekend! (i'm currently transitioning from a "mildly applied, underprocessed, kid's texture softener"....) i decided awhile ago that since my 4months worth of new growth actually looks like the texture i've always wanted when i was relaxed (who knew?!) that i would just kick all chems to the curb and let the 3-4inches (of my like....6-7inches of hair right now) grow out and snip them off little by little. but i almost got caught up when i tried to straighten my hair yesterday and failed miserably! i almost grabbed my mom's relaxer and slapped it on, until i calmed down and realized that the answers were all here in the wonderful world of LHCF! Found an amazing tutorial on how to straighten my curly hair with Chi stuff, went out and bought all the proper materials today and plan on using it as soon as i get home from hanging out with friends tonight! If things turn out well, there will definitely be pictures.

I washed, DC'ed, then set in perm rods. Took forever, now I remember why I hate setting my hair on these things...but the results are always worth it.

tonite i cowashed with mane and tail regular conditioner, applied a little bit of that as a leavin mixed with sunsilk in the pink bottle, and sealed with a mixture of amla and shikaikai oil..put in one big twist and thats it....

I'm DCing now....got a late start. I'm supposed to be sitting in a totally clean bedroom and that ain't happened either...LOL!

So at least my hair will look good....with the half-wig.

I DC'd a little today with some Aloe cholesterol, ran errands. Now I am henna'ing. Then a shampoo and good DC. Airdry and bun.

I deep conditioned last night through today and then did my MT with castor oil, coconut oil and home made spritz. After that, I just lightly blow dried it and went on my merry way.

did a twistout to see if i could give my nornal WNG a bit of a stretch (as far as length)...no dice, it looks the same. so i'm moisturizing it, sleeping in my bonnet, and trying to salvage it in the morning. if it doesnt work tomorrow is cowash day anyway.

It's now Sunday but for the last few days I co-washed my hair, every since Thursday. Today I will be blow drying then flat ironing it. In a way I don't want to being that it's pouring down raining outside, but I already put some anti frizz serum all over my head.

I have a stitched finger that I have to keep clean and away from water as much as possible, so last night my husband washed, deep conditioned, and put my hair in 2 kiddie braids to dry :Blush2:
