I've only gained a half an inch.


ETA: But My hair was underprocessed last touch up so I hope that it is more than half an inch.

I may have an inch but I semi cheated, I started on december 12th instead of jan 1.

I've gained 1 inch so far. But I've been slacking on the routine so I'm hoping for 1 and a half or 2 for Feb.

Hi Y'all! I've been lurking for a couple of months and want to join the challenge! I have 3.5 inches of natural hair and want to grow 12 additional inches to my hair.

To be honest, I'll be happy to get 6 inches Then, I'll get the right length that I want -anything extra is a huge bonus...

By then, I can start doing some of the other styles that I've wanted to do.

Ok, I'm doing this too. I don't know how much I have gotten since the challenge started b/c I got a haircut.
here's my regimine(sp):
apply dakbur vatkin oil the night before
shampoo-doo grow moisturizing growth shampoo
apply paul mitchell's detangler
alternate btw aubrey and emergencee every three wks for 30 min
keraphix during the wk that i'm not using the other two for 30 min
cholesterol treatment with placenta and jojoba oil for 15 min
hummectress for 30 min
towel dry hair and apply kheil's creme with silk groom and hum. as leave in, wrap hair with satin scarf and allow to dry
once dry oil scalp with either doo grow oil or bb maxium strength growth hair grease.
treat ends with Cd hhb

I saw a woman with one at a wedding I attened on Sat. Hers looked really nice. She had all of her hair pulled back smooth but it did not have that so tight that she is constantly surprised look. Made me even consider getting one.

I have about 1-2 inches depending on the part of my head. The front is growing super fast for some weirdo reason I can't figure out

I know I didn't get the December 03 start like everyone else, but I'm in! I would love to have 12in of natural hair at the end of this year.
 
I'm like you bellydancer, my hair grows about .75 inches per month. Right now I'm at almost 1.5 inches of newgrowth and my last relaxer was Dec. 19th. So I'm hoping for 9 inhces in this year! So by Dec 19, 2004 I want to have 9 gorgeous, soft, fluffy inches of all natural hair!!! (By then I will have cut all the relaxer off!) Yippy!!! Count me in!!

[/ QUOTE ] Gon head girl! I jus got my hair straightened with a hot comb and the first word that came out of my mouth was "DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMN". My hair grew sooooooo much! I'm happy for you because transitioning was HARD to me.

I know I'm a little late but I want to join this challenge. My commitment is to moisturize, protect, and take my vitamins.
 
This is my goal too. I started in Jan with 4-6 inches, now after a trim I have 6-8 inches of healthy hair!! I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully I can make it there by Dec.
 
befoew we start a new thread with the official challenge let's decide on a date. How long is this challenge...do you want to do 12 inches by Dec 2007 or Dec 2008?
