Lots of vitamins, moisture and protective styles. My hair hasn't seen the light of day since May!

Im in, Im in Im in!!!
I have 7-8 inches in the longest part,4 or so in the shorter parts.
My problem is retaining ends! They break pretty easily, even though i moisturize like crazy. im beginning to think its my water. I want 4 inches by March 1, my personal little challenge. Either way im growing- help me retain!!

Well, I would love 12 inches, but my hair only grows around the normal rate of 1/2 inch a month so that will take me 2 years not 1.

How do you naturals grow your hair long? Do you have any regimens besides wearing it in a bun?

This is a possible regimen for myself I haven't decided on the exact regimen yet, 12 inches would put me at waist length

supplements:
Perfect food, 6mg biotin, 4grams of msm, hair energizer, Flax seed oil

Hair products:
Elasta QP cream conditioning shampoo,Elasta DPR-11, sta-sof fro, Elasta QP mango butter, olive oil, vo5 freesia conditioner

Hair regime:
Weave for 3 months
medium size braids for 3 months
cornrows 1 month
phonytail 1 month
twists for 1 month
medium size braids for 3 months

I would love to gain 12 inches in a year, but I think that my goal for next year is 5 inches. Yes, thats it. That would put me at my goal length. But, for the sake of being optimistic, I am going to try for 7 inches

I was already going for growth so when hubby gets back from Iraq he'll be pleasantly surprised.

I already drink lots of water and I go to the gym 5 days a week.

He hasn't even left yet, but 12 inches by Dec. 04 I'm in.

I'll just have to start after thursday, my semester will be over then, i can focus more on my hair. Plus I need to restock my products and get a *gasp* trim (y'all please pray for me). So when I go home I can start and stick with it.

I recently relaxed my hair after a few years, so I'm still trying out new products. I currently use Motions, and it seems to be working fine. My ends may need a little dusting and I need to try to stay consistent with my vitamin intake, exercise regimen and eating healthy.

I'm there all I want is 6 inches but hey 12inches in a year is reasonable! I would do this..but my hair grows extremely slow..plus I am quick to put braids in my hair(I do it for the look and the style only because I only get minimum growth even when I take vitamins). I think my hair only grows like 1/8 of an inch in a month-like I said extremely slow growing hair!
