You know, I have no idea. It's outdoors, right on the bay so it will be a little cool. You can't be too dressy or else I'll look obvious right? Help

Ok! How many payday loans and pints of plasma does a chick have to donate?

Pfff....for that amount of investment I BETTER meet somebody!

Start at $600 damn thats a Vegas vacation...no thanks

I'm gonna hang around the casino when I go matter a fact lol

What's the tea on casinos?

:yep::yep::yep:

that and a thread for thick or overweight women that marry/date rich.

there's something for everyone.

I can see it now...The only advice in that thread would be to lose weight.

I dated a man who was in the $250k-$350k income bracket when I was a size 14 (I'm 6ft tall). When we'd get together with his friends, I was always the thickest woman. One of the women actually told me that I was the biggest girl she's ever seen him with. Like I really neded to hear that.

Now, I'm much heavier and notice the drastic difference in the men I attract! So, while I work on losing the weight, I'll just focus moreso on making the right kind of friends.

What's the tea on casinos?

I dont have tea, but the people that were flirting abounded in the casino. The vibe just seemed easier. I do want to "shop" :look: in Encore where they have a number of high end stores again. There was a woman racking UPPPPPP in the Chanel (I think, may have been a Louis Vuitton) store. Her man was buying it out. My mom was making fun of the WW in her mid-late 30s with her old, damn near 80 year old man carrying some Hermes purse, but I called her a hater :lachen:
Loads of older people were flirting including the 60+ year old dude who was trying to sit at the table with me and my sisters (all 25 and under) :ohwell:. No way to verify wealth though, so I can only go by what they gave off. That man was dressed impeccably and was clearly looking for a PYT. :yep: I was also a size 14 (HUGE) when I went, but this time I am going fine to try my luck.

Cha-Ching! What Millionaire Men Look For In A Woman

Most of us have fantasized about a wealthy bachelor whisking us away to an island on his private jet—just to have a romantic picnic on the beach. But are you truly the embodiment of what a millionaire man desires in a woman? SeekingMillionaire.com gives us the scoop on what rich men look for in a partner.

I hope you’re up for a little rock climbing, bungee jumping, scuba diving or even sky-diving. Millionaire men love a woman who’s willing to step out of her comfort zone. Nearly 90 percent of wealthy men prefer their partners to be outgoing and adventurous, according to a survey conducted by the website.

Seventy-two percent of male millionaires are also looking for a loyal or submissive woman. While I’m personally on board with loyalty, I’m not so sure about the submissive part — it’s a bit vague. Do three-fourths of wealthy men want a 50 Shades of Grey type of relationship or do they want their woman to take a more traditional and servile role?

One member of SeekingMillionaires.com, who’s dated 10 millionaires and billionaires over the course of four years, explains that women are submissive in a sense because the millionaires usually call the shots when it comes to decisions on social outings.

Self-awareness or confidence (66.7 percent) is the third most desired attribute in a woman while intelligence or class (63 percent) rolls in fourth place. Surprisingly in last place, physical beauty rounds up the list at 61.2 percent. “Beauty is a depreciating asset, millionaires want a partner that can add significant value in their lives,” said Brandon Wade, founder and CEO of SeekingMillionaire.com.

While a bit of risky business wins a rich man’s heart, wealthy women say honesty is their most sought-after trait in the opposite sex.

SeekingMillionaire.com hosts 100,000 male millionaires for women to choose from, but “you have to create leverage by bringing something other than beauty to the table,” Wade advises. I’m not going to lie; I certainly do have dreams of a Cinderella-esque happily-ever-after life. Maybe I might actually step out of my comfort zone and give the site a try, Mr. Wade.

The study surveyed 55,785 male and 23,620 female millionaires were “asked to state and then rank which qualities they valued most in a partner,” according to a press statement.

Would you ever try to find love on a millionaire dating site? Source

Will one of you please bump the thread about when the board became nasty. I don't recall the exact name of the thread. Will one of you ladies please bump it for me. I believe it was started by nadaa16.

I know this is not relevant to this thread, but I didn't know where else to post this request.

Anyone girls in the SF Bay Area going to this?

I will be going on the 24th and will try to make my way to the Clubhouse. Tickets start at 600$ so I guess I'll have to try to crash LOL...any tips?

I do have tickets to the actual Louis Vuitton Cup Final. Thought it would be cool to 'network' and also go because I enjoy sailing.

Has anyone else been attending any events lately?

Aug 24th or Sept 24th? I bet there will be some nice specimens there. My *** is moving to atl though so not sure i will be here. Plus I'm too fat for the scene right now. Gimme 3 months :look:

Oh no, you're leaving! But there hasn't been a SF Bay meetup yet; I don't know of too many SF Bay LHCF ladies on here.

Last year, I remember seeing advertisements around the piers for the LV cup, but never knew what it was. Good luck Lenee925 at getting some contacts  Perhaps you could search the event in google images and see what pops up, like pics of the spectators so that you can see what women wear? My first thought would be a nice sundress, but I could be wrong.

Nah girl this is the 4th time she's whining about such in this thread. One would think by now she would make another thread since it bothers her so much. js.

FelaShrine,
I thought everyone's opinion matters. You follow me from thread to thread just to complain about my opinions. This forum has women of all shapes and sizes. It's like if you are a bigger woman you are supposed to shut up or lose weight then you can speak. I am a big believer in exploring all options. This forum is not for thin women only. Big women date and get married too and we like money just as much as you do.

Just because you are popular does not mean that you are right all the time. I don't always agree with what you say but you don't see me chasing you down do you? Let people be. All opinions are welcome. If you don't want a blue collar guy fine. Other women do. Plenty of women here married or dating firefighters, cops etc. Not everyone needs a lawyer or doctor.

Yep. Yep. I believe it. Notable that #1 really means being FUN FUN, SMILE, LAUGH be CAREFREE! The same thing I think ALL men want regardless of income. And confidence trumps beauty always:yep: You can be confident and average and a man won't notice

when you say this you should elaborate the context. i get the feeling their can sometimes be a communication disconnect. :look:

PGA Tour is coming to the NYC area very soon ladies
Define very soon. I've only got a few more weeks left in the area before heading back to school.

Also ladies in the NYC area, August 24 is the Hampton Cup Final at the Bridgehampton Polo Club. It's only $30 per car and the gates open at 3p.m. And the US Open starts in less than 2 weeks. Grounds Passes go for under $100 and tickets to Arthur Ashe stadium matches are still available (although the seats aren't the best).

Someone mentioned it to me last night. He said next week things will kick off. It looks like he's referring to the games happening at Barclays in Jersey City (right across from Manhattan) on August 22 - 25.

A great thing about this thread is it would let people know what they are in for and they can decide if they are up for it.

Know thyself. I would never have gone far with a rich man. I am a super fun friend, but if I am in a relationship with someone I need to discuss my issues too. I am also scared of heights. I will stick with the thousandaire.

SOMEBODY felt there were too many random thoughts and reported it.

Last night I was out at an event with a lot of high profile people. I spotted some beautiful black women in the crowd, but I spotted one particular one who I felt was doing entirely too much, and she stood out like a sore thumb. Here are my grievances:

1. Hair - a long brown weave. I really dislike brown weaves on women, as they tend to make the hair look dirty and unkempt for some reason. It really screams bad/weak hygiene if the hair looks ratty, non-remy () - as in the cuticles aren't aligned.

2. Eye lashes - very thick, fake, long, black, unnatural looking lashes.

3. Clothing - 100% polyester stretch material that was ill fitted and looked , well - cheap.

4. Titties - This was the icing on the cake. Her breasts were sagging and exposed - very deep cut / very revealing. It's not a good look at all.

I hope you're not on this board and I'm not trying to be mean.

I wanted to reach over and give her some helpful hints, but I don't know her and not everyone accepts advice- even if it's given with the best intentions.

She obviously wanted attention, because baby she was posing and blinking those lashes. The men were not impressed.

On a positive note, I saw another stunning girl who is either a member here or a fashion model. She looks familiar and she was doing her thing - as were a few others.

To summarize - present yourself with class. Don't be over done. Don't look desperate and let people know you know your worth.

THIS.:yep:

I know my limits, I'm not built for a rich man. fortune and/or fame frighten the hell out of me. I dont do well under pressure. The expectations that usually come with dating/marrying rich are too much for me. From appearance (hitting the gym EVERYDAY) to being able to STFU. yea, not my thing. I feel like I would crack like Caroline-Bissett or one of those super depressed drunken-prescription med abusing housewives that have to go to rehab. I need to feel and be accessible to people.

Sometimes I feel like people can romanticize certain types of relationships or men. They are all a lot of work. But rich men are a their own breed. For me, I'll take the pay cut and shoot a little lower. There are other traits I prefer that trump money anyway.

At the same time, I do like acquiring friends who date and marry rich. I'm a shameless opportunist. :look:

Are women showing up to these events alone? With friends? If you don't know the major players there, how do you stand out and make an impression if you're not getting introduced by your friend who has this person who knows that person, etc.?

That's an excellent question. IMO you have to know someone or be associated with the circle somehow, especially in a place like NYC.

Hover and engage in conversation. Smile, be charismatic and open.

I'll wait for a more experienced poster, but to me its just like networking but with some flirt.

if you are waiting for particular posters to comment on this particular topic, you should probably tag them. This thread is really long and kinda old, not sure how many people are still keeping up with this thread.

maybe ask SweetNic_JA to elaborate.

Well when I was a size 2/4 living in Atlanta, I visited my family in NYC. My brother sat me down for 45 minutes and told me that he loves me and really wants me to see someone about my weight. I couldn't believe it! Way too concerned. I was just slim. He was used to the "Thick" version of me.

Now that I'm a size 8, everyone is happy. I'm on my way to a size 2/4 again.
