How old were you when you had your first Serious Boyfriend??

Well I had my first boyfriend at 17. But I can't say I ever loved someone till I was 20. So far he was my most serious. So much so that I haven't had a serious relationship since him now that I think about it (I'm 26). I'm about to change that soon. lol.

Almost 21. I was a virgin and naive as all get out. Found out he was married and messed me up on dating for quite a while (Fortunately we'd never slept together either)

Fresh out of high school came my first "serious" relationship, I was a freshman in college and just turned 18..he was my first love and we lasted for 5 years..I don't regret one minute although we're no longer together..

Thanks Ladies for all the responses. I really appreciate it. I am just turned 22 and I am in my first serious relationship. I just feel like I am a little inexperienced when it comes to the learn term thing. Good to know I am not to far behindthe pack!!!!

Absolutely not. Actually we're kind of similar. I am 22 as well and started seeing my first, only and current SO last year a few weeks after I turned 22.

One would get the impression that we're a rare breed, but I've found the opposite to be true. I wasn't anxious to have an SO. I knew exactly what I wanted and was willing to wait as long as necessary for it! :yep:

Well we began dating when I was 17,but we did have what I would call a "serious relationship" until about 3 years later. I say that because that's when I feel like we finally began to approach the relationship with maturity.

Boy, boy, boy, my first "serious" relationship ended like 3 months ago. Let's see, we were together for 3 years. I was 24. I'm now 27.....yeah I know, but I have an excuse. I've been FOCUSED...and in school!...lol

Puppy love at 15 and thought I could not live without him. LOL. First serious relationship at 23 with my now exhusband. I haven't had a serious relationship since 04\05. I am 38 and it is pretty rough, but I can go on.

18. I did not date in HS but it seem like right when I hit that college campus BAM I was in a relationship. That was my college sweetheart, lasted 5.5 years, we had a peaceful breakup. Learned alot from that relationship.

My first serious bf, where we were exclusive and in love and professing love and all was when I was 16. We stayed together until I was 18...I left him soon after I went away to college. I wanted to date around and have fun and not be tied down...plus, he started flipping out and not being able to handle the relationship...it was too restricting.

After that, I had two serious bf's (where we said, "I LOVE YOU" were exclusive et al) before I got married at age 23. I don't recommend being all serious before the age of 25 now. I guess it's fine as long as you don't get married too soon. 23 was too young, IMO looking back. If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't get married until after age 30.

And here I thought I was late but right after I turned 18. Wasn't looking for it but it happened.
