How old were you when you had your first Serious Boyfriend??

i was 21.... that was my first "real" relationship period.

everyone is always so shocked when i tell them, but for me i can't just be w. anyone. the person has to be just right. and i have VERY high standards.
 
My first serioous BF was when I was 18...my senior year. We were together 7 years (on and off).

I wouldn't advise most people to get involved so seriously so young!
 
My first relationship period was right after I graduated. I was 18 and we were together for 2 years and 3 months. I wish I'd started my freshman year of college single. I missed out on a lot being involved so seriously.
 
Well, I had a fairly serious boyfriend in high school, we never did the do, so I guess it doesn't count. My first serious relationship arose when I was a rising senior at univeristy, so I was 20/21. This was the bi-polar one that I talked about in another thread. We date on-again/off-again for 4 or 5 years.

My first serious relationship, I was still in high school - so, 17/18, or so? I actually wouldn't consider any of my college relationships serious, as I knew those knuckleheads weren't quality long term goods - they still had waaaaayyyy too much growing up to do. My marriage is definitively the longest relationship I've EVER had at this point.
 
hmmmmmm..wanna say junior high--we thought we were so seriousssss--we dated for a couple yrs though--

but for real--for real---when i was 18---i modeled--he modeled--that was crazy but i enjoyed every min of it
 
18. dated for the better part of a year, then he dumped me bc of the age difference (we were 1 school year apart). :rolleyes:
we've been doing the off again / on again thing for the past 4 years.
i've had other boyfriends in the off phases, but he's still the only guy i've been in love with (and loved me back).
 
I say my current SO is my first serious bf.
The one before him, we were pretty good together; probably the first one where I knew how to be treated.
The one before him was my first; probably the first one where I started understanding male behavior a bit more.
All of these were right after college.
 
My first serious bf was the summer before my senior year in High School. I was 17. I think we dated a little less than 2 years. He was a good guy, but God had something better for me!
 
16.... loved that dude w/ all my heart. I am now 27 and have yet to meet anyone who I feel nearly as close to as I felt to him.
 
My first love start pretty early I was in junior high and we dated until I graduated high school. We were on again off for almost 6 years. Awww young love.
 
I was 14 and in 9th grade...thought we would get married....
Then he went to jail...o well...
