A long way to go. I need 12 inches at the most. 5-6 to get to BSL. I have a long torso I have a way to go. I dont know if my hair will make it that long but Im doing my Hair Dance daily 2 more years to go
I just measured - 19 inches. At six inches per year, that slightly over 3 years, but I think it will take me longer - like maybe four or five because I want my hair to be all one perfectly even length. When I get to APL, I intend to stop there for at least a year and trim for that time before moving on again.
6+/-...I think its really 5, but the 6 would mean allover for me not just the back. I think my hair grows a little more than 6" in a year so I'm hoping for an extra early b-day present...Feb/March-maybe!!!
I voted 1 inch, but I think I have made it! WL was my goal for September. I am transitioning right now, so I am getting regular trims and may BC and start over after awhile.
I just went to measure and it's 18in for my shortest hair. A foot and a half of hair. Oh lord. So if I have the average growth rate and retain every single inch i'll be at waistlength in 3 years. I guess I better start getting serious.
For my nape to get there, another 6" or so. for the rest of my hair? well, an inch up from my nape, 7". and inch up from that, 8", and so forth. that's what happens when you're growing out of a short even round afro cut.
My hair is in these disgusting layers right now so... from the front (shortest layer) top of my head it's definitely more than 10 inches, but the hair from about my ears back is hitting BSL right now so... from the back of my head about 6, maybe 7 inches more.
