Putting bleach in someone's hair products (or, yeah, Nair, sorry Sweetie) is no different from spitting in their drink, putting Ex-lax in their food, or tampering with their medications. The words "conspiracy", "malicious intent" and "intent to cause bodily harm" all come to mind.

However, I know that for me that is not the way it would have gone down. I would have *tried* to be calm in the phone call, but then by the time it was over, I would have already cussed her out, been outside of her house on my cell phone, and then I would have been on the news!!

That is horrible, how can someone be so devious, I mean you really have to be crazy to even think that of all ways to jack up someone, I am going to mess up their hair by bringing long term damage to it.

Forget small claims court. Don't all caustic cleansers have a warning on the label, something to the effect of "It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling" ?????
Report her to the feds and see how she likes going down for felonious use of a household cleaning product!
I wouldn't tell her either. I'd just press charges and let her find out that way. She could wait to see the video in court. SMILE!

Your friend needs to report this girl!! She is a dangerous person for her to do someting so evil and vindictive. Thank God it's only bleach in the hair products. It could be much worse like rat poison in food or lye.

If I was your friend, I would report her to the authorities. Because she might do this again to someone else and next it could be more dangerous or should I say deadly. I wouldn't let that slide.

If you see them together you will know why it happened. My friend is beautiful and always trying to make something of her life. She has a wonderful relationsip and works hard in her career. Her life is not easy but she tries.

Her friend is always pessimistic. I warned her to keep away from that girl in the past but they have been friends for over 10 years.

She is still in shock and won't do anything now. Her boyfriend wants her to report this but she is not ready to react. As a matter of fact she is very depressed about it. She feels pressure from everyone to do something. She is loosing her hair and a "friend."

She is also ashamed to let anyone know that she actually set up a video camera in her own house. That is very embarassing for her. She is worried about trust issues with everyone if they know that she did that.

Usually when women do evil stuff like that to one another, especially things resulting in damage to the hair or face, it is usually in retaliation. That is why I am not automatically jumping on the side of the friend. I am thinking she did something to provoke this attack. I don't believe it is jealousy.

She didn't lose all of her hair at once. It came out in long strands over a period of time. She went through a bottle of deep conditioner a month so by the time her hair started to really thin, she had used up the bottle. After a month or two her hair had grown back almost completely. It gave her a little scare though which is all I wanted. I didn't want to do any real damage. My then chemistry teacher gave me that idea.

She did alot of things that I thought were funny at the time but as they increased I grew to dislike her.

For example: One of our friends had planned a cruise with her husband. On the night before they were to leave she hid all the travel documents. (somewhat funny but not if it happens to you)

She also invited a bunch of us over to her home and while no one was looking she spat in the coffee she made for another friend. (gross no matter who it is done to)

Nobody has done anything to her that is beyond the typical disagreement that friends have from time to time. She just gets very sensitive and over reacts. She also has an obsession with beauty. Hair and body size is a big issue for her. She is very beautiful but she loves to compete with everyone in a vicious way. By everyone's standards she is exceptionally beautiful but I can see through her looks to a mental issue.

HoneyRockette I understand your frustration or dislike towards your roomate's racist attitude but I just believe that there are other ways to handle people to their face than to break their self esteem which leads them to become worst in character.

I know you were young and we all did some sucky things when we were young. Anyway this woman is like 31 and a hater or mentally sick.
