**Hair Porn Alert!** LongHairDontCare's NEW Hair Journey Video!

I've never seen such beautiful hair in my life! And she inspires me to not be afraid of heat. Her hair is so beautiful and it doesn't seem like she has damage. Man, I can't breath. I've never seen such beatiful hair evah! Wow....i'm speechless.

my sister had phenomenal growth and retention with cornrows. when she decided to transition, she did so with cornrows. she had a bald spot that filled in within a few months before we moved to kinky twists and box braids, and she grew her hair from NL to BSL in 10 months that way.

i keep saying PSing is the way to go, but i look stupid in cornrows. not only that, but i did them to install crochet braids and they thinned my ends.

If you believe it's not true that most of us have thick hair, then yes.
Lord knows I don't have thick hair...

...if I wear a bun, it MUST be textured (aka curly or a twistout/braidout bun), otherwise it looks like I am NL.

I HAVE to grow my hair to WL in order for it to look amazing, I fear. You know how some people are full SL and have the most lush looking hair because it's so thick?? Yeah, I'm not one of those people.

I'm a subscriber but I enjoyed watching again! I love all the styles she does. Mine are more, same ole same ole, but I definitely employ braid/cornrow technique, and have been that way all year. I've been able to catch up my layers super fast doing this (keeping corn rowed for retention as I cut out my layers). Her hair is indeed gorgeous.

Me too. I started employing blow drying in last summer when I first discovered her on youtube and posted her here. Before that I occasionally flat ironed, but after air dry. Now I blow dry and re braid it up, to keep away the knots and I noticed less knots and still excellent retention. It's all in how you do it. I even have a similar blow dry to the one she uses with a comb. The only difference is I do allow my hair to air dry half way in a stretched braided stage for a little before blowdrying for a little less heat.

How do you blowdry? with the comb? Ive tried the tension method, cool shots, etc etc. My hair either doesn't get blown out/little effect (cool shot) or I lose hair. Every time. The ssk's come out yeah because they're on the floor :lachen: along with the rest of my ends. I must be doing something wrong. What method do you use while you blowdry?

/\ I know you were asking luckiestdestiny but I also know me and you have very similar hair textures so I thought I'd tell you how I blowdry as well.

I blowdry on wet hair (thats already in 10 braided sections) coated with a dime-quarter sized amount of heat protectant serum (I use IC fantasia right now) and I use this blowdryer with the teeth and it really gets your hair pretty straight.

I always blwdry my hair with that before I braid my hair and it makes braiding my hair a sinch.

^ Thanks. I had saw that blowdryer on your blog a while back and I hesitated because honestly I have like 30 blowdryers :look: but I think I may just get this one. I usually do the tension method with my hand but that doesn't really work, lol (particularly if your hair is short imo) I'm just going to go back to the comb since I lose hairs anyway. We do similar things while blowdrying (I use IC too, as well as blowdry on damp hair released from braids one at a time) so I think it may be the type of blowdryer that I'm using...
