We were just sittin here and I had my "hair" up in a ponytail. Right now I have a sew w/ hair left out but the nape stopped bein straight after day 1 so I just moisturize and let it be and never wear a ponytail unless I'm at home. Anyways he was lookin at my hair and goes "You know what you should do" and I said "No, I'm not getting a perm" cause that's what I thought he was going to suggest. He said " No you should cut your hair and wear a mini afro. Me:  :shocked: and then I do the high five, finger point, yea u get me thing. But then he goes on to say I can get edged up and the taper fade, mohawk and I'm like :naughty: but he says he knows how my hair will be. MY THING is I was planning to transition w/o the bc never planned to bc at all. I have no idea how my hair will be since I've never been natural or how I'll look. I am also style challenged and twa styles are limited. So I'm at a crossroads :spinning:

Well you have a lot of sistahs on her who are in the bc phase that can help you.

Whatever you decide we are here. :yep:

how sweet of him :) as for your opinion on it I second your emotion. If I had known 5 years ago that I didn't have to bc and could have transitioned naturally I def would have snipped little by little but do what makes you both happy

awww that was soooo sweet, and twa styles are nowhere near limited....you can do the widest range of looks on shorter hair as a matter of fact.

Aw go SO he's sweet.

Well if you do BC and have a twa it'll definitely be fun to accessorise and will show of your face something serious. Also you may feel regal and more powerful.
If you decide to do the long transition as planned that's awesome too, you've got options and don't feel the need to rush into any decision.

BC if you feel good about it. Check some of the BC threads and TWA threads for inspiration. It's not as limited a style as you may think!!
