I want long hair strictly for me. My maternal grandmother was part Native American. My mother, aunt, and cousins got their hair (and skin color) from her side of the family. I got my hair from my dad's side of the family. When I was a kid, all of them had nice long flowing hair. I never did. The teacher's at our school even treated them better because they were light-skinned with good hair (I grew up in New Orleans--ya'll have no idea). The longest my hair ever got was a little past shoulder length my senior year of college.
I want hair down to my waist just to demonstrate that you don't have to have "good hair" to have long hair. No revenge involved.
