I'mma post his name. Please do not quote. I will delete later. Let me know what you find, if anything. The only thing I found was a facebook page which he clearly created around the time he met her. And he has ONE friend on it.

He goes by xxxxxxxxx. His full name is supposedly xxxxxxxx. She even had to text him for his full name. Like how are you gonna marry someone when you cannot recall his name? :lachen:

That is an odd last name. It looks like he put two names together to create it. I believe that the first name is correct, but everything after that is BS. He should at least have some cousins or something that share the same last name on the internet. *scratches head*

A variation on the last name means, "Dxxxxxxxx is commonly known as pot heads, and is usually another way to say one is completely and totally faded. It is also a meaning for being completely stupid, having bad management skills, or totally incompetent."

No, this is foul. The man is a con, no ifs or maybes.

@Farida, did you get his drivers plate number?

Where did she meet him? Does she know any other person that also knows him?

Did she ever see his driver's license, credit cards or any other legal documentation with his name on them?
You mentioned that she put his name on some accounts: what name did she use for him there and does she know his ssn and address? or did he fill in this info himself?

She in her 30s. He claims to be in his 30s...
If he’s still in the barracks at 30 that means he went in super late or he’s in some type of trouble or he’s separated from his wife and can’t afford to maintain two residences so they put him back there.

Now the cancer part could be true...I doubt it cause dude sounds like a liar but the military won’t discharge you while you’re in treatment and remission isn’t an automatic discharge either. One of my former coworkers had cancer while in and they let her stay through her enlistment.

Do you know anyone else at that base? If so, just have them look up his name in the global...if he’s military they can pull his email. That’s the fastest way to find out if he’s lying. The only way any of this makes sense is if he’s special forces but like seal team special and that’s about it

Someone on here must have contacts at Camp P who can look him up and verify if he actually lives there, right?:look: My coworkers at my previous job used to drive through there every day to get to work. I’ve played paintball there myself. He is lying!!

I know some mutual friends who are retired military and I did consider asking them to look him up on the global. But since they are retired they don’t have access to global, right?

If I wasn’t so tired at the end of the day and weekend I’d go myself! So for now I am just e-stalking.

Is he hispanic? They're usually the ones with multiple last names and the last one is obviously a made up name. He is a liar and a fraud. Can you PM me his pic if you have it? I have time today to dig.

He is black. He looks like he is either African or Carribbean. She said he is Senegalese and some Latin American. I forgot what country she told me.

Sounds like a Nigerian scammer to me. :look:

He's definitely a fraud, but I really think he's homeless or close to it. I wish her well, but please don't get too involved. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
It’s gone from sad to entertaining (except the diseases). I think I watch too much ID. I am enjoying diggjng too much.

Unfortunately now that she knows I think he is a fraud she is not volunteering details about him to me about his work, personal info etc anymore. She still tells me about wedding plans etc and the stories he tells her.

He says he is in remission but that he has reduced lung capacity and bad knees. He faints all the time. Yet he is supposedly about to be deployed.

Oh and he is that young, that sick but he is a master diver.

She talked about adding him but I don’t know if she did. She never brought it up again after I told her not to do it.

Dude started proposing marriage like a month in. She kept saying no. But he bought her a ring two months in. Formally proposed after about 7 mos.

Red flag, too much?

Who is the woman his car is registered to? Googling her may be the link to the truth.

I fear something may have happened to her.

Girl, please remember that in the lifetime movies, the well meaning, inquisitive friend often gets killed by the nobgood man. Stay safe.

Yeah, be careful out there OP.

You’re right. That’s why so far I haven’t done anything to directly confront him or tip him off that I am snooping. Because whatever he is up to, if he finds up I am snooping he will convince her to stop talking to me.

You better come thru like the smart detective at the halfway point of the episode.

When she told me the story about the car registration I told her to give me the woman's name so I could look her up. I couched it in terms of "What if she is a criminal and the cops pull him over and run his plates and her warrant comes up? They are shooting black men all the time for much less." She said she'd do it but never did. I don't think she even remembers the name at this point.

That’s his baby mama’s car, most likely.

Or she could be the last woman he duped. There's plenty of men who make a living off of lying and taking advantage of gullible women. Some take from women, some make them disappear....ID channel is full of men with this MO....and their victims.

eta: the more I think about this thread, the more worried I become. I'm really hoping for a run of the mill answer like he's just a broke kang or is still married to someone else. I don't like the nefarious possibilities.

Yeah, in the beginning I was just like whatever. I said my peace and she doesn't care. Her loss. He's just a kang. But now I am worried.

This sounds suspect as all get out. I don't know what to say about the name though because I am the only one with my name (full name). My last name is common but my first name, only a few old ladies in the u.s have it :giggle: as I was named after my great aunt. When I google I see a few people with it but not the last name combined together, and when I say a few, I mean I can count on my hand how many names pop up next to some 85 yr old on one of those websites that helps you find people. I've heard people in Europe (specifically a Russian lady insisted it's a Russian name and :blah: :blah: :blah: on and on  ) have it but that's it. Even there it is a rare name that almost belongs to another century. I love that about my name (that it's rare), though. As for the internet when my name is entered, my information pops up and no one else. I do work in film so it connects to imdb, etc but still...I haven't found anyone else in the U.S with my name combination.

One time I was in an airport and heard luckiestdestiny please meet at X for Canada. And I was like WHAAAAT?!!! I wanted to sprint so fast to see who this other person was who had my full name but that would look psycho :look:  I should clarify and say no one in the U.S has my name combination because there is obviously a luckiestdestiny doppelganger running around in Canada.

As for dude, he has too many other suspect things going on. I have relatives in the military, we are a military fam : my dad, my brother, my uncles, my grand pa's (both) ...and none of what he says sounds right. There has to be some link and there is no way he will get in trouble on his off day meeting his lady on base, or introducing her to some friends and showing her around so I would say, she should ask him to give her a tour on his off day. And she should insist to meet his relatives even if it is by skype because they are getting married after all. No lady should be afraid to ask her man these simple things, especially someone she's marrying.
