DEVA CUT OR C-CUT

I am looking to get my natural 4a/4b hair cut. I called a salon in Atlanta called Curltopia. The receptionist told me that certain hair types don't respond to deva cuts, but she didn't go into much detail. I have also heard of something called a c-cut by kristen james. Can yall give me a little insight on which cut would be the best for 4a/4b hair.

The Diva cut can be done on 4a-4b hair, you just have to find the right stylist that can do the job, and one that you can trust...thats the hard part.
