You could try the John Freida Red color glaze. I use it once a week to help keep my color in additional to regular semi perm rinses on top of my permanent color.
THANXX.....i ended up with this color by accident when i got the black stripped out of my hair by hair cuttery (actually wanted a sandy brown but was told it would have to be a two step process)....she did a good job though and gave me a reconstructive treatment....after i deep conditioned over night and once a week since then, when its curly i co wash daily and when its straight i deep condition b4 and after... HTH
I like her hair color, but I am too nervous to bleach my hair because I use to in high school while I was relaxed and the color made my hair dry and I constantly had to get trims and aphogee treatment to keep my hair healthy
I have really been craving red hair! I want to do henna though, but oh yes, my hair is black and doesn't take red unless it's the real thing. I'm so desperate, I'm thinking about using that old can of beets from my pantry (for the juice) and mixing it with my henna for more of a red effect. It expired in 2004...
