Imjussayin'... pre baby and nursing, I had perky boobs and nipple length would have been ez as pie!

I have a long neck and torso and stub stub legs. I'm only 5'2. It's going to take me forever to reach my goal of bsl. I think I have to grow about 11 in.. That's what like 2 yrs if I retain all length. So prolly 3. You no necked ladies are lucky.

Umm...after seeing the vid I'm inclined to agree with the op. You can't claim shoulder length with 3-3.5 inches of hair. I don't care how high up your shoulders are.

I ask because I saw a girl on youtube ( i won't out her in case she's on this board) claiming to be SL when she had no neck. She was a lil thick so I guess SL was a lot easier to reach. While I'm happy that she felt she had reached SL, she was being a tad unrealistic. What she called SL was probably 5 inches of hair and on an "average" person, it would be neck length.

It just got me thinking about my own goals and trying to tell myself my hair has grown 3 inches when it's probably two, telling myself my hair doesn't need to be cut off when it really does.

I guess I'm wondering if anyone else lies to themselves about their hair...

I'd love to laugh but I guess I find this to be more offensive. I don't think anyone can help the way they're built and its a shame with all these 'pressures' we face to look a certain way already, a person cant even share their hair progress/success without being blasted about their body from other girls who are on the same journey they're. I don't get it. I'm sure however, she'll be the one laughing if she makes tailbone after everyone laughed about her not having a long neck. -shrugs-
