The last time I had a salon rollerset, the stylist clipped them together and it did not increase drying time and my roots were really smooth no blow out or flat iron neccessary and I was 8 weeks post relaxer.

I use the magnetic rollers with the cover then I use a hair pin at the bottom of the roller attatched to my hair to pin those that are likely to move, this keeps it very tight, I think you guys call it a bobby pin.

I use snap on covers---or flexirod rollers.
