Aww thanks Smuckie! I so want to hire that guy, but I'm sure that travel expenses to Michigan plus his usual fee (which he is well within his rights to charge for his awesome work) would put us through the roof!

If, I mean when, I remarry, I already know I want a professional photographer. Pictures done right evoke soooooo many emotions and take you right back to day they were taken no matter how many years have passed. I love this thread!

ROK is a dream photog! I'm sure Michigan has some pretty savvy photogs too for much less. That's still my hometown and I spend lots of time there during breaks (summer and holidays). We've gotta get together.

...one more thing...I know this girl personally. She's one of us and really sweet. She's a photog and has some really nice concepts for weddings, engagement pics, family pics and PREGNANCY PICS. (...hint hint...so when you guys get pregnant...you'll have someone to consider hiring for your pregnancy and newborn pics)

Funny you mention this because her arms stood out to me. Perhaps just a naturally muscular figure and the short haircut doesn't help.

i just checked out the slideshow. omg. that couple is gorgeous. and the groom's eyes! that wedding looked so fun, playful and loving. the photographer did an excellent job. i was smiling throughout the entire slideshow!
