Besides Length, what's the one thing you'd change about your hair?

I would like for it to grow faster and I wish I could just close my eyes and I would be a fully transitioned natural with the hair length I have now. One can dream, no? :)

I'd love for my hair to be all the same length. I got layers way back when, cut my own hair in frustration, had a stylist trim my hair that didn't know how to trim.. so my hair length is all over the place. Hopefully I'll get all one length eventually.

The color. I hate my natural hair color. It's like 4-5 different colors and not one of them is attractive to me. I have random light brown spots, medium browns and red. :nono: I'm trying to fight the urge to dye it black but I'm not winning. It looks ashy all the time.

I've always had reddish brown hair.During the summer I would get sandy highlights from the sun.And it looks odd to me. I wish I had darker hair. At least like the dark brown rinse in my siggy. Everyone(IRL) says I would look funny with black hair and to stick with lighter shades of brown or red:ohwell:

Texture - I'd like to try life on the "3" side of the fence.

I can relate to the dry, ashy, red-brown comments. I got that going on too. No matter what it ALWAYS looks dry :(

The only thing I would change about my hair is the gray hairs that keep popping up. They're easy enough to cover (I use KISS Express Black Rinse) but I don't like going through the trouble to doing so. Ahh well!:ohwell:

I want thicker hair. I often covet the 4a, 4b hairtypes, because they have not only long gorgeous locks, but thick delicious ones as well! There are other hair types that are just as thick, but seeing thick, gorgeous 4a hair is drool worthy to me.

Texture, Texture, Texture, my hair can be very kinky and coarse and me no likey..oh I do wish I could change my hair color without any damage.

Oh I been wanting to ask this for a minute...Can someone please tell me what do the 4a and 3c etc..etc mean, Is there a link explaning the different hair types?

Im 4a and my hair is thin:ohwell: The only way it looks thick is if I keep it natural and make it look big. I wish my hair was thick because I see women with beautiful thick hair and I drool for it!

I wish I was a natural red head. Some of my aunts and uncle have to most beautiful long, thick red hair.

I wish my hair was shinier and smoother... I want it to naturally look like it does when it's loaded with -cone products

Thickness, thickness, thickness, thickness, thickness, thickness, thickness, thickness, thickness, thickness, thickness, thickness and thickness.

Oh and one more thing .... THICKNESS!!!!!!

My hair is really fine, but there's ALOT of it. I wish the strands were thicker, so it would be lush and thick when I flatiron after a touch-up.

thickness for me too! Oh and I wish I didn't have to color my hair cause I loved my natural color before the dreaded grays rolled in.

Thicker hair...everybody always tells me I have thick hair, but I have recently found out that I have ALOT of thin hair...because I have a big 'ole head.

:lachen: People tell me I have thick hair but I think I just have a big head.

Your hair does look thick though:yep:

-Less shedding. I'm taking garlic supplements, but I don't think it's really helping. The only time my hair didn't shed is when it was in locs. *sighs whimsically*

-Less thick. I'm not asking for thin hair. Just a nice medium. I have so much hair, it's a pain to deal with. I think that's the reason I can't see myself growing my hair longer then shoulder length.

-My natural hair color. I'd like to be a nice 1b. Or even a nice, dark rich espresso. My natural color looks . . .dirty.

I'm not even going to front: I sometimes wish that I was 3B with fine strands instead of 4B with coarse, mama-hide-the-combs-so-they-won't-break strands. :ohwell:

In order of preference:

1. Thickness--my edges and nape are freakin' thin and I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of thickness because of that. My edges have been like that for as long as I can remember and I've always been self conscious about it.
2. Texture--Besides the fact that I have a million different textures on my head and I want all one texture, I would also like some 3b curls that are smooth all the way down each individual hair. My hairs are rough and I hate that. I know I'm supposed to love my hair for what it is, but I just don't have the time to deal with my 4 something (or whatever it is with all of the different textures) hair at this point in my life. I know the detangling and finding a style I like would just be a b**** and I'm not gon' be able to do that. I spend enough time on my hair as it is.
3. Color--This is easily and safely fixed with Henna or rinses, but I hate the ashy black color of my hair. If it's gonna be dark, it should be jet black...if it's gonna be light, it should be a nice auburn or something...but ashy black? Mm mm. :lachen: I'm putting off the color solutions until I reach my first goal of APL though.

*end rant*
