Are you going to have a date on Valentine's Day

I realized I haven't recieved anything for Vday in 5 years!!!

Last year I broke up with my SO on Vday. His broke trifling butt didn't get me nothing anyway though

Me myself and Irene will be my date on Valentine's Day. I'm going to see a comedy show, buy a new outfit, and get my eyebrows done. I might even go to get a facial. To end it all, I'ma go and get myself Strawberry Cheescake and take myself out. Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm!

I do, yay! Though I'm not sure it will be on the actual day. He works evenings on a schedule that confuses me, but *checking calendar . . .* I think he doesn't work that Friday the 13th. oOoOoO, creepy! He better do something good.

sorta. I would not call it a date though.

With someone that is special to me, I am going to a local winery during the day for a chocolate and wine tasting and then getting an early dinner.

Nothing cliche or mushy - just a nice day fun with someone I like to hang out with. I am happily living the anti-strings-attached lifestyle right now.

I did that one V-day in San Francisco. It was cool. I mean, chocolate and wine. That's happiness right there. Though in my opinion, they are better by themselves because sweets tend to mess up the taste of the wine for me. Have you been to wineries for tastings before? Have fun!

Probally not, won't be the first time and won't be the last. Im already picking out what im going to buy myself for V-Day and since my B-Day in the same month, im working on one gift for myself.

I hope :( I've never really had a V-day. Once I got the roadside gift basket and another time I got the Notebook DVD.

That, my friends, has been my V-day experience.

Yep! he and I will probably go out for dinner and then back to his place! We started dating 2 days after Valentines Day last year, so this will be our first together.

If other people didn't mention Valentine's Day, it would pass by without me noticing. It just doesn't exist for me, whether I'm in a relationship or not.

*I* don't have plans. But someone has plans for me. He's told me them. We'll be going to a particular restaurant. Then we will go dancing till dawn. Then I'll go home with him. Then we'll spend nearly the whole of the next day in bed and order in. Then in the evening he'll walk me to the train station or put me in a cab home.

Did I mention we're not involved? Just one date a few weeks ago and that was it.

I told him it sounds like a great plan, all he needed now was the girl.

Girl stop...And here I was feeling all excited for you.:lachen::lachen: Not sure yet about a date for V-day..the playdateinatl thing that someone mentioned upthread sounds good. I may check that out.

I have big plans for me and my baby on V-Day. Plans that include dinner, movie, massage, Victoria's Secret, and...

Nope he has to work and he works swing shift. we're doing a combo celebration on the weekend His birthday is that week so we'll be celebrating that too.

ETA: I just realized that V-day is on the weekend so, I guess yes we are going out.

Nope, and I like it like this. I dunno - I think people place too much emphasis on Valentine's Day. Personally, I think its a trumped up holiday pushed by 1-800-Flowers, Conroys, Hallmark and Hershey's.

I'm going to be working! That weekend is All Star Weekend in AZ so the two of us will be at the store. At least we'll be together! :perplexed
