Wow, thats kinda hard. LoL

Ummm, well I guess it depends on what your hair needs. Are you looking for just moisture? If so, go with the c-pak. That does not have any proteins except for hydrolyzed silk which is a moisturizing protein anyway. The olive oil masque has hyrdrolyzed soy protein, wheat amino acids and wheat protein. It may sound like a alot of protein but it is still very moisturizing. If you use it and don't like them, they do have a return policy and they will give you a full refund.

LOL why you got that pretty pink flatiron flashin in my face. Girl, I'm bout to return my wack Jibere to sally's just so I can get this  . Still won't use it.

I still don't know why I bought that thing. I feel like I am cheating on my FHI. Even my BF asked me this weekend "Just how many of those things do you have?" I was like :look:

It is so cute, too. I still have not used it. My FHI is working perfectly. I should have saved that $85. But now that I have it.....

Aveda Black Malva Conditioner: This stuff is amazing. It provides color and conditioning. Be warned though, be sure to wear gloves while applying, I had to really scrub my hands afterwards to get the stains out. But I love this conditioner, it's perfect for touch ups when my indigo starts to fade and my henna red starts to show through.

This sounds really interesting. I was about to color my hair to get rid of the remaining light brown highlights in my hair, but its such a messy process ( dont feel like messing my light green bathroom rugs) I am going to look into this.

3.Silk Elements revive and restore shampoo

This is scaring me a little. I just bought some of this and this is second or 3rd time someone labeled it a miss. I hope it works for me because I threw away the receipt.:perplexed

Haven't purchased anything new lately...but I finally used Boots curling cream....BIG HIT. Too bad it's only sold in the UK.

HITS: Devacurl no-poo and one condition,ORS olive oil, Cantu breakage defense, BRAIDOUTS!!!!

MISSES: Cantu Shea butter moiturizer(it just sat on my head and then my hair ate it up, and felt exactly the same as when I put it on only crispier)

GIVING A TRY THIS MONTH: BT(just got mine in the mail), Anita Grant products, and Kinky Curly pudding. Also a new hair color something blond...

Miss: Tresemme Moisture Rich Shampoo....ugh

It acted like a clarifying shampoo, totally stripping my hair.

Shut up!! They have Nature's Gate at Big Lots!!?? I LOVE Big Lots! They call me the "Big Lots! Queen" at work! :lachen: I am heading there TOday to check that out; I think I want to try the Jamaican Black Castor Oil, too; is that one you can get at the BSS (says its for locks) or do you have to order it on line??

Thanks, ladies! :)

Don't worry, even if you threw out your receipt, Sally's will give you store credit should you need to return it. ;)

Hits:boundless tresses. it makes my newgrowth soft and I see some new hair growing in parts where my edges came out. less sheading also.

giovanni direct leave in. very moisturizing.

Miss: Aubrey White Camellia and Jasmine Shine Conditioner Spray. I just bought that and it makes my hair so damn dry :(. Ugh. waste of money.
Dove intense replinishing mist is a better one.

I am looking for a really good moisturizing deep conditioner. Although, I love Aveda products, I am not totally sold on the Deep Revitalizing conditioner that they have. I need something a little more moisturizing. Where can I find the Dudley's Hair Mask?

aubreys gpb is pretty good.
another one is proclaim tea tree oil conditioner for damaged hair. I used to use that. I got it at sallys.

Hits
March was a lazy hair month. So these were really just okay...
1. Dax Supergrow hair grease (used on NG)
2. My trusty Optimum Care super protecting shampoo is always a hit
3. Braid Spray as a daily moisturizer (surprisingly effective)
4. I think thats it:(

Miss
1.Nexxus Therrape Shampoo(this is the DRIEST moisturizing shamppo I've ever used)
2. Buying the huge bottle of Mane-n-Tail Shampoo (Dry)
3.Silk Elements revive and restore shampoo (dry some more)
4. Sunsilk conditioner-the green one (dry again)
5. Using anything other than my trusty Optimum care shampoo

Silk elements revive is horrible! I bought a bottle years ago and my hair felt dry as a DESERT. worst shampoo I have ever used in my life.

Try Target... I heard they sell Boots products.

My hair hated that Cantu Moisturizer also. I just gave it away. :nono:

I am just getting in here for the day but you know the PJ in me was coming back to check every post in here to see if anyone raved about something I already have.

I picked up my Dudley's Hair Mask from my beautician but but but.....I did find it on the net. (This is an 8oz jar.)

Check here. --> Dudley Hair Mask

 Yeah girl I knew you would be back in this thread at some point! Thanks so much for the link!

Shikakai Powder + Elucence + a bunch of oils stopped my 16+ weeks shedding and left my hair strong. I know it was the Shikakai because I've done the exact same thing in the past minus the Shikakai and didn't have the same results. I highly recommend it.

MISS: :(

Those cheap Annie Satin Covered Foam Rollers!! Well these are more of a disappointment because I am still going to use them for now. It's just that the "satin" in unraveling!!! Each time I use them they unravel a little more. I am going to have to throw them out soon. (Yes, I do sleep with these and a scarf on most nights - don't hate! ;) )

Anybody know where I can get some?? These Annie ones are the only large sized ones I can find. Scunci makes good ones, but they are all teenie tiny.

NOTE TO ALL: These used to be too big for my hair. Now they are perfect!! Progress, I think!! :D

Please say it ain't so Honey Dew!!! I just purchased about $27.00 worth of these online last week. Got them in the mail on Monday, but haven't used them yet. I purchased them because, my Hype Satin Rollers were starting to get raggedy.

Yay, my first Hit and Miss!!!!

Hit: Herbal Essence Totally Twisted Curls and Waves Conditioner. I had great slip and after a DC, my hair felt so soft and it was super easy to detangle.

Miss: Myhoneychild Type 4 Creme. It made my hair feel really dry. I'll probably mix it with a conditioner or something.
