I MUST get to BSL/MBL this year!

2. What is your current hair length?
Grazing APL

3. Are you Natural or Relaxed?
Relaxed


4. What are your hair goals for 2010?
MBL, thick, moisturized hair


5. What is your hair reggie?
Joico 17 minute miracle routine w/Biolage Cera-Repair every week.
Henna once per month
Phyto relaxer every 7 weeks
Daily multivitamin
 
1. What is your purpose for joining this challenge?
Retaining length
2. What is your current hair lenght?
After a recent trim, just below BSL
3. Are you Natural or Relaxed?
Relaxed, texturized to be exact.
4. What are your hair goals for 2010?
MBL and WL in 2010
5. What is your hair reggie?
Cowashing, weekly poos and DCs, moisturizing every other day, relax+KPak+henna every 12 weeks.
 
1. What is your purpose for joining this challenge?
I was in the last one for only part of the year and it really helped. I think a full year of consistent effort will do wonders for my hair.

2. What is your current hair length?
SL, no layers. Maybe a little longer, but I haven't straightened in 4 months.

3. Are you Natural or Relaxed?
Natural

4. What are your hair goals for 2010?
My co-worker's wedding is in July. I'd like to be APL stretched by then. Full year goal is as close to MBL as possible by December.

5. What is your hair reggie?
Shampoo and DC with steam 1x/week. Hair is twisted 90% of time. Spray leave-in condish and seal twice daily; keep hair pinned up off scarfs. In the summer I might co-wash 1x/week, but my hair doesn't really like cowashing.

2. What is your current hair length? Currently I am Neck Length

3. Are you Natural or Relaxed? Transitioning to Natural (Long-Term Transitioner with no plans to cut until at least another 16 months)

4. What are your hair goals for 2010? Reach short-term goals of SL and APL by December 31, 2010, increase thickness, continue transition to natural hair
5. What is your hair reggie? I am doing a KISS regimin, where my hair will be up for most of the year in protective full sew-in weaves at least once a season. When I take my hair down and prepare for my next install, I may straighten, but that would depend on my passes for LHCF Bootcamp.

5. What is your hair reggie?currently my reggie is transforming I am entering a new stage and life and my hair needs to change also. Previously I would cowash and bun daily, Wash and DC once a week.
NOW**** I will continue to wash and DC once a week. However, I would like to incorporate more styles into my arsenal such as twist/braid/ bantu knot outs more often also rollersets etc. the Bun thing is getting BORING and I feel so BLAH I have been bunning EVERYDAY for over a year.

super KISS.

Sunday - co-wash. vaseline on length. bun. baggy.
Monday - same bun untouched from sunday w/ a cute scarf covering the baggy when i go to work. hair slicked down w/ condish mixed in my hand w/ coconut oil & castor oil.
Tuesday - same (same bun from Sunday night wash day)
Weds - re-twist the bun if needed, add vaseline to the ends, bun/baggy, scarf.
Thurs - same bun/baggy & same slick down method
Fri - Same
Sat - prepoo all day b4 wash = powdered coconut milk + mustard oil or mustard oil, avocado fruit, & 1 egg. (i luuuurrrrve what mustard oil does for my hair)

i detangle by finger combing whenever i co-wash and detangle with comb and denman whenever i feel like it but i don't go more than 2-3 weeks w/o a real good detangling because i shed a lot.

i baggy & bun 24/7 until july 28, 2010.

i spray hairobics leave-in in the AM and PM whenever i remember. i like it.

i dust whenever. i dusted this past sunday and hadn't done it since may.

To recover from heat damage and make my hair healthy again and also for growth :)

2. What is your current hair lenght?
NL

I want to reach shoulder length stretched.

Here is my "regimen" if you will call it that
I stay away from heat!
I shampoo/condition every 3 weeks.
I deep condition with conditioner and added oils (olive or coconut) bi-weekly
I co-wash 3x a week
I use a BIG tooth comb to detangle my hair (only when wet)
I lightly oil my scalp twice a month with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil or castor oil
I wear protective styles (puffs, twists outs)

5. What is your hair reggie? I shampoo once a week and I cowash 2x a week. I dc with each wash. I apply my leave in and moisture then seal.(while not in extensions) In braids I plan to wash my hair every 2wks and dc with each wash. (while in extensions)

-Wash once every two weeks with No Poo, Co wash daily, conditioner on dry hair twice weekly; scalp massage every other day with Afroveda tridoshic hair oil (for circulation, not simply growth); use natural products, use QB BRBC with OHHB seal daily or Deva Curl One Conditioner with OHHB, wigging it until I hit APL, then buns buns buns....

1. What is your purpose for joining this challenge? i want to grow my hair longer, try to stretch relaxers for longer than 12 weeks, and have over all healthier hair.
2. What is your current hair length? BSB.
3. Are you Natural or Relaxed? relaxed.
4. What are your hair goals for 2010? i would like to reach MBL.... :look: and i would like to grow out some of my shorter layers to BSB. some of my layers are around APL.
5. What is your hair reggie? I wash my hair once or twice a week depending on my schedule. I deep condition once a week for 45-90 min no heat or 20-30 minutes with heat. i roller set most of the time. i air dry sometimes when i don't have time, or i will go to my hair salon to get a roller set.

1. What is your purpose for joining this challenge? I've never participated in challenge before. I want to see if i will stick to it.

2. What is your current hair length? Shoulder length i was longer but i chopped it off a month ago.

3. Are you Natural or Relaxed? Transitioning. I plan on transitioning for at least 24 months. (?) My last relaxer was in August...i think. lol

4. What are your hair goals for 2010? I'm anemic, so i need to keep that in check. I'm leaning on using all natural ingredients for my hair.

5. What is your hair reggie? Co wash twice a week, use rollers and curl formers. I'm receiving the sample pack from Darcy's Botanicals for christmas so i'm going to see if my hair likes it, in the meantime: shea butter and vitamn E oil ...no heat. Henna every two weeks. Drink lots of water. Eat healthy. MOISTURIZE. Because i'm noticing my hair thrives off of it.

Right now, I am weaving it up for at least 6 months.

I'm inspired by the progress pic thread for the 2009 Bootcamp so I'm gonna take the plunge for 2010....

1.Purpose: Maintaining focus and discipline for healthy growing
2.Current length: somewhere between APL and BSL
3.Transitioning from relaxed to natural - 24 week post.
4.Goal: Transitioning without BC - want to go 1.5 -2 yrs before BC
5.Reggie: Wash and DC 1x/week, airdrying and/or bonnet drying, buns or braidouts, trying to perfect the bantu knot-out

I have not used heat on my hair for 4 months but got a flat iron for Christmas so I think I'm going to try flat-ironing 1x/month.

Co-Washing twice a week, pre-poo with coconut oil and washing every two weeks. Daily Moisturizing with Elasta QP Mango Butter and Jamaican Black Castor Oil, sealing with Coconut oil.

To basically grow my two to three inches out to waistlength:)

Trying to use less heat...i use it no more than 2x a month.
Relax my hair every 8-12 weeks. Usually always 10 weeks.
I love buns and braidouts....so easy to do!:yep:
