Can I join? I haven't BC'd yet, but I'll definitely be 100% natural by the end of the month. I plan on doing dialy co washes and spritzing for a while, then when it gets longer, maybe some two strand twists.

So what conditioners are you all using for your CW's? I have been using suave but I need one more moisturizing, I just bought Aussie Moist so far so good but don't care for the smell, Maybe I need to add some honey to my Conditioner that helped awhile back but it lightens my hair.

Count me in. I didn't see this thread either! I just bc'd on April 23rd and I have about 1/4 an inch of hair. I've been wiggin it all week and will be in micro's until I get about 1/2 an inch (yeah, a whole 'nother 1/4 of an inch more!!) and then I'll be doing as I did before. CO wash daily and spritz with my water, conditioner, glycerin mix and then putting fantasia IC gel on for texture. Once a week I'll clarify with Cream of Nature. But one thing I didn't do the last time was deep condition. My hair thrived then, so I'm hoping that it'll thrive even more once I start dc'ing. So yeah, I'm on board! I'll take photo's tonight before I get my braids.

I don't cowash but I believe most people are using the cheapies.

My hair is growing ok. It is starting to hang more in the back. I wish it would hang in the front. The front always grows slower than the rest. I am still struggling to take my vitamins. I finally got my hands on some Vatika and I love it.

I'm in!!!

Here is my starting poing picture:

My regimen is simply:

1) Conditioner wash daily with cheapie conditioners
2) Shampoo 1-2x a week, depending on if I have build-up or not
3) Oil my scalp with Boundless tresses every night
4) Moisturize my hair everynight before bed or every other night
5) Try to deep condition my hair more often (once a week, maybe)
6) Try to include more hot oil treatments
7) No heat (flat-irons, direct blow-drying) except for bonnet dryer and diffuser (when I get one).

count me in too:) my twa is on the grow.:D my routine:

co-wash weekly (suave awapuhi, biobasics or humectress)
moisture spray daily (homemade)
leave-in daily (aussie moist, aubrey gpb or tresemme)
protective styles (rotate between twists/braids/yarn braids)
vitamins/supplements daily
no heat (no blow dryers, flat irons, pressing combs) air dry only

i updated my yahoo. (folder dated 2007-04-27):

i'm in the process of putting some new yarn braids in:grin:

My Twa Progress is going great! I almost forgot LOL!! How is everybody else doing? My routine has been very simple since I can now cornrow my hair back and apply my phony pony and that last me a week, so I shampoo weekly and do a Herbal hair rinse apply moisturizer and cornrow back up and clip my phony pony on I am so glad to have a protective style now LOL!! Now BT should be able to work since I can put it right on my scalp now, I gave my bottle to my sister to help her out so now I have to order me a fresh one LOL!!!

I need to join this...since the next check in date is 3 months from now I pray that I have some nice growth.

I am not sure what my hair regiment is going to yet. Right now I am co-washing daily, moisturizing 2 times a day, using BT 2 times a day, no heat (dont have that much hair anyway)...sporting wash n' go's....taking my vitamins (multi, biotin, flaxseed, b-50 complex), upping my water and eating healthier along with some exercise....

I would like to join!! I am currently wearing treebraid and weaves, and will be doing so until Dec. timeframe.

My regime consist of:
Co-washing (Daily if braids are out)
Spritzing Concoction
BT (Daily...I luv that stuff!)

Simple I know...but it works:D

I wanna join this challenge too.
I cowash daily
I moisturize daily
I shampoo once a week
I clarify once a month
wash and gos mostly and sometimes finger twists.

All natural 4a/b TWA wearers.. Run, I mean run out and buy some Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam to give your hair a lift. The foam makes your hair curly. After I applied it, I combed my hair back and tied it down with a scarf the night before and added one of those curly puff balls on the back. Beautiful ,I tell you, beautiful:rolleyes:

Hey we were suppose to check in a couple of days ago. I think I have about 3 inches now and it is pretty healthy. I need to try to figure out what am I go to do with my hair for the delivery of my daughter. I will be in the hospital for a few days dur to a c-section. PlusI don't think I would want to be bothered with my hair for a while. I might just twist it. my hair goal is to grow about 4 or 5 inches by the end of Dec.

Ah forgot about this, still going strong:yep: I had a full weave put in since early last month (Sept) re-did it about a week ago and I'm very happy with my progress, sticking to my reggie cut down co-wash to 2ce a week, acv and DC once a week, oil scalp with sulphur and mn mix and vatika oil:)

Hey Ladies I wanna be in too. I BC'd the end of May, and in effort to grow my hair out i have been hiding, braiding, wig wearing, and currently weaving it up
I take 2 week breaks between styles, and thats when I wear my wig and CW daily. Otherwise I wash about every 2 weeks. I oil my scale with whatever I have :ohwell: and haven't been taking any growth aides.....I think its time for a more refined regimen....lol

Oh I've been wanting to try this, a friend of mine use to use it religiously with her Twa...What's a curly puff ball?

I don't think I have been retain length at all. So I am currently wearing twist and I hope to keep it up til the end of the year. I can say that my hair is getting thicker. I am really hoping that I can get to 12 inches. I wish I could do an photo update but my son broke my camera. I hope I can get a cheap digital one soon.
