Hi I am Karla, SoutherStunner around these parts. I am confused as all get up. I dont know if I am relaxed, stretching, transitioning or what. My ends are relaxed and I have not had a relaxer in 8.5 mos and if I do get another relaxer it wont be until June 2010 when my DH gets back from Afghan, I am in protest.:spinning:

Hola Chicas! I am LaidBak and I have been relaxed for as long as I can remember (since 6 years old I think). I don't have any kind of cute natural curl so I relax to keep from being a slave to my hair. I rock weaves, half wigs, braids, hair pieces, doobies and whatever else I think is cute.

Hello, I'm shocol and I'm going into my ninth month of transitioning. I do what I want with the hair on my head when I want because it's MINE and nobody else's.

I wish for all black women around the world to have healthy, happy hair of whatever length they desire. May you be blessed to have others respect your hair choices and not have to subject your hair to other people's agendas. :lachen:

well, I am biased, I love nappy hair and wish all could be but..... I still appreciate and love straight styles, I got some straight wigs I bust out every now and then to change it up.
 
My name is Ramya and I've been natural for 6 months. 50% of my hair is dyed a toffee brown color and the other 50% is my natural shade. My hair is going through a phase of sticking straight out in every direction and I love it :giggle:

I didn't transition to natural for a year to be locked in a box like I was when I was relaxed bone straight. I want to wear my hair puffy and big as well as long and sleek and everything in between for however long I want using whatever methods I want, as long as I can change it up without huge amounts of effort.

It annoys me that I went natural mostly so I could color without damage, only to hear that it damages your hair anyway.I think this is bull and I still throw tantrums about this frequently.

I love healthy hair and that is all that matters to me. I do not care if you are 1a or 4c, have chemical or not. It is all BEAUTIFUL to me! :yep:

I am the BOSS of ME and only ME. If you like it, I LOVE it. I embrace the diversity of all woman and what they choose to do with their hair.
