We are here for support.... if you have NO hair - you shaved your head you are starting over - or you have massive loads of wonderful hair....

You can call yourself whatever you like. If you put some relaxer on and still wants to call yourself natural, natural you are. You are whatever you say you are. This is beginning to sound like the 4b debate.

Hi, my name is Lady Speedstick, even though I am neither royalty or a stick of deodorant. I recently did the big chop and play with my natural coils. A lot. Even thoug they are less then an inch long. I also slap on synthetic hair wigs & half wigs that are not always of a kinky texture. Some of the are straight, wavy, and curly. I feel like it's the best of both worlds.

ETA: OH! And I consider myself natural.

I'm a 3b/3c natural and its not all that....not to rain on anyone's parade, but that's just my opinion.

My name is LivingDol1. I am relaxed and have been for most of my life. I love and am amazed by all hair types. I've learned a wealth of information on this board. It is my happy place. :headspin:
 
I am texlaxed after a year of being natural but not before a hasty theft of my husband's clippers, or before a succession of big chops, or before my beautiful APL length relaxed hair started breaking because I treated my hair worse than my feet (it was growing right?, of course I can self-relax....I can do anything I set my mind to!)

Now thanks to you ladies I have a new stylist that keeps me incognito and I can keep the hair police away: "put the applicator brush down ma'am!"

Now if I can just find a silking conditioner....its all good.

I'll call my truce.....and say my peace......again....I like hair of all textures and of all lengths, I've been natural, texturized, and relaxed.....and right now I like being relaxed, I'm constantly educating myself on relaxed hair, and eventually I will go natural......but I'm living my life.....and I'm enjoying my hair.....I like all kinds of hair.....and I have no beef with anyone.....oh yea my name is ashley aka slantedeyezmiss2003.......
 
i like this "call youself whatever you want" movement.....
.......as long as we are clear about anything extra we do to our hair outside of shampoo and conditioner :) not for the sake for condemning, but rather for the sake of knowledge and the quest to achieve a similar head of hair :)

I am relaxed. I relax bone straight. I don't like puffiness of any kind when I am relaxed. I was natural for about 5 years and may go back if I feel like it. For right now, I enjoy being relaxed and I enjoyed being natural and I just enjoy hair.
