I just got straight white vinegar in my EYES. OK, picture that. Think about how that felt for me....
And WHY you may ask, was I putting white vinegar anywhere near my eyes? To defunk a weave, that's why.
I have been struggling with weave addiction for some time now (don't laugh!) and seriously it's getting ridiculous.
1. I am wasting money buying fake hair when I have my own.
2. I am supporting an industry that has many shady ethical issues.
3. I am using petrochemicals when they are not needed... contributing to global warming.
4. I am spending so much time trying to put a weave in and then it looks raggedy, so I take the time to take it out
The time invested is massive.
5. Last but not least, DH hates weaves.
So I am starting a personal challenge- to wear my OWN hair, cottlamit!
Wish me luck, ladies. Withdrawal is painful. But I feel like I have to do it now or never.
